Chapter 112: Omen

Kagome felt weightless.

Darkness surrounded her on all sides. Unnerved, she blinked her eyes slowly, and waved her hand in front of her face.

“When did I fall asleep?” she wondered aloud, after realizing that she must have been unconscious.

A white path suddenly illuminated before her and solidified beneath her feet.

. . .

Kagome… Kagome…

The poor birdie has been locked away.

When will you come find me?

I’m looking forward to our game.

You will die…that much is true.

Don’t rely on the dog, my dear.

He can’t protect you.

. . .

Kagome shivered. “I really don’t like this dream.”
