After setting her drink down Kagome had raced to the stairs, taking the steps two at a time she made it to the top and ran down the hallway, she was at his room in no time. Kagome peeked around the door frame and eyed the inu's single arm.

Sesshoumaru was pacing up and down the length of his bed, glaring daggers the pair of innocent dress shoes Kagome's mother had picked out for him earlier.

'Lucky day, I made it before he melted them.' Kagome thought.

“Um... Do you need any help?” Kagome asked meekly from her spot at the door.

The demon lord's head snapped up.

“This Sesshoumaru has already told you he does not need your help.”

“But your shoes-”

“I do not need help.” Sesshoumaru turned his back to her and glared out the window.

“But-”

The inu growled.

“Okay, seriously, you are such a child.” Kagome stomped up to his bed and snatched the shoes. “I'll go find you some boots.”

After she was gone Sesshoumaru sighed and rubbed at his temple, hopefully she would have a pair in his size.
