Kagome absentmindedly stroked her kit's hair as he relaxed in her arms. Reaching out with her reiki in order to find her target, she came up empty handed. She huffed, “He couldn't have gone that far.” She looked down at her kit, who was gnawing on his new lollipop. She set Shippo down by her favorite tree and pulled out the second rosary, “Wouldn't hurt to try.”

She folding her hands, she closed her eyes and concentrated. Kagome was so focused on her task that she didn't feel the presence coming up behind her, nor the urgent tugging of little hands on her pants. “Mama!” And she was done, she looked down at her adoptive son.

“Whats wrong Shippo?” Shippo pointed, with a shaky hand, behind her. Kagome turned, “Oh hi, have you been there long?”

Sesshoumaru was inspecting his new piece of jewelry, rolling one bead between his thumb and index finger. He looked up at the young miko and raise one perfectly sculpted brow. “Hn?”
