A Note of Explanation: This is a story will be told in small sections so as to hopefully keep myself from over doing it and losing interest.

Chapter 1: Hiring the Incompetent

Hiring new employees was one thing Sesshoumaru truly despised. Their nervous excitement and lack of brains in the simplest of tasks left him feeling completely irritable. It did not help that most employees of the Powerplay establishments were all teenagers.

"If someone asks to see how many points are on their card you take them to this machine, and put it in here." he explained with a slight sneer and pushed the card into the slot. "Here are how many points are left, and here is what they have so far spent it on." he pointed to the most recent use of the Bumper Cars and Laser Tag.

The girl at his side nodded as she listened, and although her bright blue eyes were filled with determination, he could see that she was lacking. He tried not to scowl at the girl and pointed toward another slot that was green.

"Here they can add more money to the card. Let's say they put in five dollars, how many points would they recieve?"

"Um..." she jolted, and straightened, staring at the screen as if the answer would be there and he could hear the cogs in her brain trying to form the right answer. He gave her a hint.

"If one dollar gives you four points, five should give you...?" It was simple math. Simple multiplication, but she stumbled over her words under his scrutinizing gaze. He guessed he could give her some slack; not many could think straight under his cold glare.

"Twenty." The girl colored in embarassment at her slow response and he nodded, trying not to act like she was completely incompetent.

Kagome Higurashi...she wouldn't last a week.
