Hair like a crow's fallen feather and skin like alabaster, warmth that branched out to his surroundings even reaching her icy face, reaching out to feel the allusion of heat she hesitated. Kagome knew the process and she repeated it numerous times but it felt different, he was different. Dark clouds exposed a bright moon that revealed in the light a handsome face of a traveler, she gasped and almost felt her heart beating-almost. Emotions and feelings are not required for a job that calls for killing; she was taught to lure them in and offer them false hopes to ease their death then as fast as their trust rose, you end it. However tonight her fierceness dispersed along with the small pelts of snow, Kagome cautiously caressed his cheekbones and felt a certainty that he won't survive the night, strangely she felt a pang of guilt. Despite the prohibitions in helping mortals, she breathed out a series of comforting heat, enough to keep him warm for the journey home. Smiling slyly she touched his cheek once more but, settled outlining his lips with her thumb.
