“You wanna know where the wench is?” Inuyasha taunted. “You’ll never find her.”

Sesshomaru dismissed, “Ridiculous. This Sesshomaru never fails.”

Except...except that once so long ago.

“Oh yeah? What about that time with your-”

A quick jab to the solar plexus and a dislocation of his shoulder for fun and Inuyasha was out on the floor like a light.

“You.” Sesshomaru leveled Kaede a menacing look. “Tell me where she is, or I’ll kill the half-breed.”

Kaedee sighed, tucking her hands into the folds of the arms of her kimono, a move that Inuyasha had picked up from her many centuries ago. “For him, anything. I knowest thou wouldst not kill the babe. She lies in the bowels of the cave forty leagues from here to the North.”
