Crying Under a Watchful Moon
Chapter 1. Depression caused by betrayal

The rain slowly pored down on a small wooded path, with each passing minute it looked as if the rain was just simply someone's tears, and each crack of thunder was ocompotied by a sob....a heart breaking whisper of hopelessness...a lost soul, in the darkness, void of all light.
"Why" Kagome whispered under her breath as the hanyou pushed her to the ground. "Go home!" the hanyou spat, "You don't belong here....You and Shippo, are just hindrances! Your not needed anymore, were going to work with Kikyo." He said, turning around quickly. "Sango, Miroku, why are you doing this to me! You never side with Inuyasha...I thought you were my friends!" Kagome cried out in desperation. Hopeing her friends would help her. Shippo was curled up in her arms sobbing his little heart out. "Because…" Sango said. "You and Shippo just slow us down. Your always getting captured, and, we…we… Just wana kill Naraku, Kikyo can do the same stuff you can do." Miroku finished for her. At that momment Inuyasha,Miroku,and Sango tuned their backs on a heart broken Kagome and Shippo. Not even spareing them a second glance. Leaving them colapced, and cold in the middle of nowhere
Both sobbing, "Sh..ippo do...." that was all she managed to say. She was cold and trembeling. All she wanted was to go home, have a nice hot bath, and cry all of her misiry out in her mothers arms. "Kagome, you want to go to your time." Shippo stated. It was not a question, he new that Kagome would want to go home. For all he wanted was to do the same. After Shippo said that Kagome slowly picked herself up off the muddy ground, her goal of reaching the well her only thought. Slowly she walked towrds the well. The rain was quickly picking up, and Kagome tripped over a fallen branch. "Kagome! Are you okay!?" Her ankle was swollen, and red "Yea, shippo....I'm fine!" She grined, trying to hide some of her pain.
They had walked all night. When the first rays of dawn slowly came over the horizun they showed the horrible condition Kagome and Shippo where in. The both were covered in mud, and had horrible bloodshot eyes, tearstains fresh on their cheeks. "Shippo, I'm going to go threw first, and get something for you....okay?" Shippo slowly nodded his head in return. Kagome volted herself into the well.......Nothing happend. She tried again and again. Over and over, until she just gave up. Not just on jumpping into the well but on life, happiness.....and love. Kagome at that momment died on the inside, all that was left was a body that was kagome's. Nothing left inside (1) And with her final amount of energy, she let out a heart wrenching wail, for life was worthless.
Three days later Kagome had finaly hauled herself out of the well. She just walked forward. Not paying mind to the shocked Shippo startled out of his daze, or Poor old Kaede who just looked shocked. Both where sitting by the well, as Kagome slowly walked into the forest. Lifeless blue eyes led her way.

A little girl was skipping through the forest. Her smile was happy and carefree, and there was a skip in her childish step. When she came upon an unrecognizable sight. It was Kagome. Her normaly viberant hair was dull, her eyes dead. She had almost no weight on her.....her mind lost to the world
"SESSHOMARU-SAMA!!" the girl cried out. The stoic lord apered mere seconds later to see his ward pointing at Inuyasha's whench....Who looked dead. Kaede and Shippo came into the clearing, trying with no avail to wake the miko. Rin whent over to try and wake her. At rins soft voice and comphorting words, Kagome slowly broke out of her trans. "Why is the miko in this state." Shippo dicided to answer...and told him what had transpired. He knew what it was like to be all alone in the world but those were memories the taiyouki would rather not revisit.
Kagome was slowly led back to the village, barely there at all.
But the entire time Kagome didn't look at sesshomaru he reminded her to much of...Him
