Kagome giggled as Inuyasha tugged once again at his white cowboy hat. She walked over to him and smacked his hand. She reached up and fixed the hat so it fit on his head without bother his ears. He smiled in gratitude for the help. She gave him a smile back and stepped back. Sesshomaru walked in the room and watched them. He bit down a growl and turned to leave, that scene and the familirty upset him for some ‘odd’ reason.

“Sesshomaru! Come here!” Kagome called jumping over her bed to get to him. She stopped right in front of him and smiled up at him. Sesshomaru felt light headed at the close contact she made, he felt her chest raising and falling. He looked into her eyes and felt his head spin. He mentally frowned. Why was a mere human girl making him feel this way? But he knew deep, deep down exactly why. He didn’t want to admit it. He wouldn’t admit it. He would graduate next year, leave and hopefully forget this beautiful face he found himself dreaming about every night.

“……….you going?” she asked. Sesshomaru raised his eyebrow in question. Kagome sighed and looked down.

“You know to the party” she mumbled. Sesshomaru brows furrowed. Party? What party? Before he asked Inuyasha sighed and pulled Kagome away.

“Come on Kagome, I’ll go with you! We’ll have fun” he said smiling down at his bestfriend. Kagome nodded and turned towards Sesshomaru. He noticed the rejected looked in her eyes, she pushed past him to leave but he caught her arm.

“Wha-” she turned to face him. He was looking down at her with an unknown expression in his eyes.

“I’ll go” he said. Kagome's face lit up and she smiled at him. He felt his heart drop.
