Ok, this is my first chapter story and I am excited about this, updates will take some time but I will update when I can.

Prologue

During the late 15th century, piracy was at its height in Asia. There were both demon and human pirates from all walks of life. The most feared pirates at the time were the kaizoku of Japan, especially those of demon descent. They conquered many provinces in Japan that were along the shoreline. There were many raids in Japan, the villages located close to the sea were often victims of the kaizoku raids. Soon the kaizoku focused their raids in the Korean peninsula and the shorelines of China. The kaizoku then accomplished to operate the seas of East Asia. They became everyone’s worst nightmare and enemy, they were feared by all.

In China the kaizoku were known as the wokou and in Korea as the waegu. Many of the early kaizoku were originally soldiers, merchants, ronin, smugglers, and evil beings who wanted nothing more than riches, land, and of course females. The Kaizoku era began in the 13th century, it is believed that corrupted demon warriors wanted riches and power and thus the kaizoku was born. Of course there are many other theories that exist concerning the birth of the kaizoku. Some say that it was the lowly demons, others say it was corrupt human samurais. But it is unknown to how the Kaizoku came to life. But now the Kaizoku were all types of beings from different walks of life.

Many emperor's and leaders have tried to stop the piracy but they were not successful, the Kaizoku were too many and too powerful. It was nearly impossible to eliminate the Kaizoku, let alone the demon kaizoku. Many people in Asia feared that not just the kaizoku but any pirate will come and raid their village. Many of the kaizoku often kidnapped both young males and females to sell them into slavery. Many of the beings sold into slavery were turned into servants in the homes of their masters. It would seem that the villages from any part of Asia that were located along the shorelines and those close to the shorelines are much more prone to the raids then those that are located deep within the lands.

One kaizoku in particular, was well known and powerful, and that was Captain Sesshomaru also known as Takao: respectful male. He is widely respected by many of the demon kaizoku as of the human kaizoku, after all that is how he got his nickname. He also has some alliances with both the Chinese and Korean pirates, and one Portuguese ally. Sesshomaru may be a kaizoku, but he fights, steals, and kills with honor. He is one of the few kaizoku that fights with honor and does not normally do raids. After all becoming a kaizoku was not his choice…he was forced into it.
