 Behind Naraku, Yukiko could see the familiar outline of her brother, Yanagi, shackled and being dragged by a horde of ugly looking demons.

“Yanagi!” She cried, tears welling in her eyes as she glared at Naraku, hate in her eyes. “You monster!”

Naraku only laughed, sending more of his tentacles out towards the party. Yukiko held her arms above her head, surprised when she had not been hit by the limbs.

Inuyasha stood above her, his sword unsheathed, chopping the tentacles into pieces. He failed to notice as a tentacle wove behind him, piercing his belly.

“Inuyasha!” 

Blood pooled violently.
