“Yes!” Kagome exclaimed! As soon as Sesshomaru put the ring on her finger and stood up she launched into his arms. Sesshomaru wrapped his around her waist kissing her passionately. Pulling back he looked down to see the brilliant smile that was shining in eyes and on her face.

“So what do you say, we go visit your family and share with them the good news?”

“Of course, nothing would please me more. Rin is home right? We can let her off of her homework for one night, and take her with us.” Seeing Sesshomaru nod, Kagome squeaked in excitement and ran in to get Rin.

“Rin, I hope you’re ready for a small trip. We’re going to my family shrine.”

“Really? All right! I just finished my homework.”

Shortly after they were in the car, traveling over, and Kagome gripped Sesshomaru’s free hand with her own, from nerves. Sesshomaru sent her a small smile in return.

Arriving at the shrine they walked up the steps and looked in the windows, seeing that both Inuyasha and Kikyo there for were sitting in there. Kagome gulped and looked at Sesshomaru for strength. He nodded his head and tightened his grip on her hand, showing that he was there for you.
