Sesshoumaru quickly discarded her off to an assistant, disgusted that he’d even allowed her to touch him unconsciously. A nurse on the night shift came in to check her over and awaken her.

“The woman seems to be unconscious, sir.”

“Thank you for that astute observation.” He sneered at her. Why must I be surrounded by fools. “She mentioned something being wrong before she fainted… again.”

They heard a moan coming from the woman’s bed and a shaky hand reached up to massage her temple. “What an awful dream.”

“Miss Higurashi.”

Kagome looked up at him and burst into tears.
