“Miss Higurashi, it is good to see you awake. How are you feeling?” Dr. Kuro asked her with mild concern.

“What happened to me?” She wondered aloud.

He ignored her question, instead firing her with others. “Can you tell your name? Do you remember mine?”

“Um.. I’m Kagome. Kagome Higurashi. And you, you’re Dr. Kuro right?”

“Hn. One out of two is not bad. Your name is Kikyo. Kikyo Higurashi. Not Kagome.” He read over her chart silently fuming. It should have worked. She shouldn’t be able to remember anything about herself. Perhaps this is the work of the jewel.
