Kagome reached for him and he fixed her with a glare and pressed harder. Her hand fell limp to her side and she sighed with relief.
“It’s not much proof, but it’s better than him.”
Sesshoumaru didn’t want to ask, but he wanted answers, “Who?”
“The You from my dream,” She quipped. “He wasn’t so concerned about personal space.”
“Make no mistake you foolish miko. I am Sesshoumaru. No matter your delusions.”
He released her abruptly and turned on his heel in true Sesshoumaru fashion.
He paused for a moment, turned his head and reiterated. “There can only be one.”
