Once Kagome managed to untangle from her sleeping bag she became aware of her surroundings.
Something’s not right.
Inuyasha stood before her, dressed in his usual fire-rat robes, staring at her dumbfounded. “The fuck are you babbling about wench?”
“Kagome-eeee.” A red ball of fur collided with her chest, knocking the wind from her.
“Shippou?” She questioned breathlessly. “Shippou! You’re so small!”
His child-like eyes stared at her with concern and he pouted. “I’m as big as I’ve always been.”
“Kagome-sama, perhaps you should rest.”
“Miroku? You’re alive?” She rushed to him and grasped his arms. “I can feel you.”
