Inuyasha knew he'd heard correctly. Kagome. Inuyasha gave his brother an appraising look. For so long Sesshoumaru had despised her with every fiber of his being. Inuyasha had seen it all. He had made her life a living hell… all for the sake of making her pay for a crime she hadn't committed.

And now he was here, ready to forgo everything he'd done to her… and for what?

“What concern of yours is she?”

Two things because abundantly clear to Inuyasha the minute he'd asked. One- honor was not the reason Sesshoumaru called for Inuyasha.

And two- Kagome was.
