One Who Doesn't Kiss and Tell

Kagome could feel her powers being drawn from her. The minute Sesshoumaru overpowered her, the pain was gone. Sesshoumaru leaned his forehead on Kagome’s shoulder as the two of them caught their breath.

“I can’t believe it.” Kagome groaned out, still too exhausted to move. “You saved me.”

Sesshoumaru blinked as the red receded from his eyes. “Hnn.”

Without a second thought the two disentangled from one another. Kagome turned to the grab other clothing and when she looked back Sesshoumaru was gone.

She huffed and lay down on her bed. Too bad Sesshoumaru was never one for idle chatter.

AN: I guess I forgot to update yesterday, so here is that installment. I'll have an other out later tonight for today hopefully. I'd like to point my readers to a new little series I'm working on.
