Shippou stared at the crescent moon above, taunting him with self-righteousness.

Sesshoumaru had known of the outcome all along. He was played a fool.

Of all the things Sesshoumaru had been wrong about; only the one thing that held any truth actually mattered.

She is not one to follow orders… especially when her minds made up.

It was true. Kagome had made up her mind long ago, and nothing Shippou did would change that now.

Shed tears mingled with the raindrops soaking his skin, and his sorrow consumed him.

Everything I’ve done to protect you. It was all for nothing.
