“This Sesshoumaru did not ask your forgiveness.”

“But,” Kagome continued. “I understand why you did what you did.”

“Unlikely.”

Kagome sighed. They weren’t going to get anywhere like this. “Look. There are some things I need to explain. And you need to sit down, shut up and listen for once. This fighting we’re doing isn’t getting us anywhere. It’s only making things worse. And like it or not, we need each other.”
