One Very Scary Mind

Heaving his backpack over his shoulder, the purple plot bunny trudged through the long, winding corridor.  It had grabbed hold then wouldn’t let go so it was time to find a place to root.  After a couple days of wandering around in this confusing place, it had finally discovered the area meant for beings like him.  Now it just needed to find an unoccupied room.

Trudging along it finally came to a sign post with all kinds of arrows pointed in various directions.  Stopping, he dropped the heavy pack, put his little paws on the small of his back and stretched a bit.  That thing was heavy!  Glancing up at the sign post, he tried to discern where he needed to go.  Like most things up to this point, the thing was more confusing than it was helpful.  Most of the stuff on the arrows made no sense.  What the hell was a place called Dark Cave of the Remainder of the Sanity anyway?  Bog of Nocturnal Endless Pursuit?  No, that didn’t sound like a place he wanted to visit any time soon.  But one was called Plot Bunny Haven.  That is where he should be headed.  Shouldering the heavy pack, he started his journey once more.

Finally, after an hour or more of climbing through places that he would rather forget and some that downright frightened him, he came to a bright pink, cheery archway that proclaimed Plot Bunny Haven.  At last, his journey was almost over!  Stepping through the archway, he was in a well lit place that had corridor after corridor of doors.  OK, he was here, now where did he go?  Looking around, he found another of those confusing sign posts.

Though there were many arrows, at least he had some idea what these meant.  One in neon blue said “Yaoi”.  No, that wasn’t a category he fit into.  Glancing nervously down that hallway, he heard quite a few male moans and shouts of pleasure.  Covering his fuzzy little backside with his paws, he shook his head violently.  Oh no, he so was not going to go there!  Looking back up at the sign, he saw another in dark, ominous letters that said “Pure Evil/Dark/Angst”.  No, that wasn’t him either.  Glancing down that corridor, he saw it was dark with only a few low lights here and there.  Screams of pain as well as loud sobs could be heard.  With a frightened shiver, he shook his head and looked back up at the sign.  In a cheery pink, there was a sign that said, “Yuri”.  Perky, fuzzy ears twitching, he grinned a bit.  No, he didn’t fit there either but it might be worth a visit some time.  Hell, watching could be all kinds of fun!  The next arrow on the sign said, in bright yellow, “Guttermarbles/Pure Smut”.  Ears twitching, he chuckled a bit.  That might be another place worth visiting too some night when he was bored, but he didn’t belong there either. Next on the post was the sign “Oh Hell No!” in the red they used as warning signs.  Though he wasn’t all that sure what that meant he didn’t like what it implied and decided to avoid it.  Next was one whose letters seemed to fade in and out, almost as though they were trying to hide.  “Will P.O. Sesshomaru Also the Author Witness Protection Program Main Office” was what it said.  OK, that might be interesting, he thought.  What could be bad enough that it would piss off the daiyoukai?  But the more he thought about it the more he decided that it probably wasn’t a safe place to go.  After all, he was just a little defenseless plot bunny.  The inu daiyoukai could easily annihilate him.  No, not good.  Very bad for plot bunnies health.  He wouldn’t be going there.  “Mega Epics” was the next sign on the post, painted in granite-like hue with bold, eye catching letters, like something out of a movie.  That one made him think a bit.  Yeah, he was going to be a big bunny but did he fit there?  After a couple minutes of contemplation he decided he didn’t.  If that changed over time he could always move later.  Next was the sign that said “Oneshots” with letters that had lines around them to make them look like they were moving fast.  No, he wasn’t a oneshot.  Finally, he found his place.  In somewhat puffy letters that looked like they were locked into a straightjacket was the words “General Insanity”.  That was him!  Shouldering the heavy pack again, he headed off down the corridor the sign pointed to.

Wandering through the well lit area, he tried to find an open door that was an empty room for him to set up his home in.  Glancing here and there, he saw various scenes from other plot bunnies through cracked or wide-open doors.  In one room that looked like an open meadow, he saw the true form of Sesshomaru playing fetch with Kagome and a big ball.  Another showed a scene of the miko ‘sitting’ Inuyasha while Sesshomaru smirked as he watched.  From another, he watched the scene of a little girl in a Tigger suit ‘bouncing’ the mighty Lord of the West, giggling madly.  Stopping halfway down the hall, there he watched through a crack in the door a steamy lemon scene between Sesshomaru, Kagome and Kouga.  Grinning, he had a hard time pulling himself away from that one, but he pressed on.  It had been a long journey and he was tired.  He just wanted to find a bed to rest for a while.  After all, he was going to be here a while before she got to him so he would have plenty of time to explore.

Finally, 3/4ths of the way down the hall he found an empty room.  With a relieved sigh, he stepped in then shut the door.  His new home.  Looking around at the bare room, he was pleased.  No, it wasn’t much right now but soon he would make it into his own story and it would be great.  Dropping the pack, he slumped a bit.  It had been a long journey and he was tired.  After envisioning a scene he approved of, he put up his things then shut off the lights and crawled into bed.  Snuggling under the warm, comfy blankets, he shut his eyes.  Just before sleep took him he chuckled a bit then said, “Danyealle, you are seriously twisted and weird.”  Then as an afterthought, he added, “I’m going to love it here.”
