Drabble Palooza by Chibi Whisper

When Kagome Attacks; 1-16-11

Prompt #1 Rakish-

Being in a hurry as she always was, the clumsy yet rakish Kagome wasn’t paying attention, so naturally it was no surprise when she barreled into Sesshomaru.

“What’s the hurry?” He asked while looking down to find she’d knocked his coffee out of his hand and all over his shirt.

“I’m sorry, I’m such a klutz. It doesn’t matter if it’s a wall, or a person, or a door, I’ll run into it.”

“Try investing in a helmet.” He chuckled. “Or perhaps a full suit of armor?”

“Oh that’s enough Sesshomaru, it was an accident!” She huffed while nudging him.

Prompt #2 Notable-

“Accidents happen Miko.” He said as he dumped what remained of his coffee over her head, trying to make it as notable as possible.

“Hey! What’d you do that for?! I said I was sorry!” She screeched while attempting to shake the wetness from her hair.

“Hn. What are your plans for the rest of the day?”

“I was thinking about investing in that armor and seeing how long I can go before destroying anything else, what do you think?” She huffed.

“May I join you? I’d love to see how many more people you can manage to knock over."

 Prompt #3 Swell-

“Are you sure you want to tag along, it could get dangerous.” She giggled at the harsh truth of her statement.

“Of course, what could be more entertaining than watching you trip over air?” He snorted.

“Suit yourself, but don’t say I didn’t warn you fluffy.” She said as they headed for a park while Kagome thought how swell this day was turning out to be.

As they got closer Kagome caught Sesshomaru tripping over a crack in the sidewalk out of the corner of her eye and she couldn’t help but laugh. It seemed clumsiness was catchable after all.

Prompt #4 tractable –

“What are you laughing at?” He huffed in irritation.

“I tried to warn you.”

“Hn, that you did. I assumed clumsy was not something you could catch, and if someone were to catch it, it most certainly wouldn’t be a tractable being like myself.” He managed to say before literally landing on his face.

Before she knew it, she was also on the ground, but from laughter not tripping. It wasn’t every day you saw the mighty Sesshomaru in such a state.

“And here I thought you’d be the only one to suffer the curse of your clumsiness.”  He grumbled.

Prompt #5 Hound-

They’d barely gotten off the ground, with all extremities intact when Sesshomaru’s hound-like senses kicked in.

“Llama!”

“What?” Kagome managed to get out before he dashed off after a llama that was more than 100 yards away. “Hey wait! Where are you going?!”

Have to get the llama, have to get the llama. He thought.

With his thoughts so preoccupied, he failed to notice the fountain looming before him so a trip and a splash later, he was soaked.

“Well- never mind there’s no point.” She giggled while watching him flail about as the llama sauntered off into the sunset.

Prompt #6 Wily-

“Well now that you’re all wet, let’s get you home and back to your normal fluffy self.” She giggled.

“Hn.” He snorted as he refused her help. He’d already been affected by her clumsiness so decided it was best to be on his way before anything else happened.

“I guess the armor didn’t work to well, maybe that means we should just try the helmets next time?” She suggested.

“Hn.” He snorted as she giggled. With that he turned and left, all the while thinking of a way to get the wily girl back for everything she’d put him through.
