Plotting Mothers

                                 ~:  Four and a half months later  :~

"One more big push My Lady!" The healer urged.

Kagome gritted her teeth and pushed until her eyes crossed and black dots swam before her eyes.

"Sesshomaru!" Kagome screamed. With a wet whooshing sound the baby slid from her body.

The healers shared a glance. Moments passed before the head healer approched the bed, coming to Kagome's side. 

"Say hello to your daughter My Lady." She said placing a squirming bundle into Kagome's arms.

"Nooooooo!" Lady Ai yelled, her eyes streaming with tears of joy and frustration. "All those beautiful clothes! I'll never be able to find such cute things for a girl." She moaned.

Hearing his mothers frustrated cries Sesshomaru smiled.

"A girl. That is exactly what she gets for shopping behind Kagome's back." He said laughing.

A Servant walked knocked at the door to his study.

"My lord. The healer says you may join Lady Kagome now ." The girl informed him

Sesshomaru rush toward his rooms, breezing pass the servant in his haste.

"Say hello to you father Sai." Kagome said holding the child up to Sesshomaru, who took her, unwrapping the blankets.

Lady Ai sighed and glanced from Sesshomaru to the baby to Kagome.

* There is always next time* She thought her eyes glaze with baby lust. * They are both so young! There is plenty of time for them to give me grandsons. Dozens of them!* She threw back her head and laughed. *I'd better start ordering more clothing, oh and cradles. They all will need their own, and rattles, and toys, and they will need horses, and pets! all little boys need a dog or a dragon. Shoes! how could I have forgotten the shoes. I have to hurry!* Sesshomaru frowned as his mother rushed from the room.

*She is up to no good.* He thought and shook his head.

"Sai, please take after your mother. Our lands will not survive if you shop like you grandmother.

"Yes and if she's like her father she'll have all the other children afraid to play in the sandbox." Kagome teased. Sesshomaru frowned.

"What is this Sandbox you speak of?" Kagome laughed harder.
