Summary: In all the time they’d known each another, Sesshoumaru should have guessed that he would be the one too afraid to take a chance. Kagome could be remarkably fearless sometimes.

i am really scraping the edge of the deadline with this and the next one to get them in on time :P my schedule has been a bit weird for the last several days; this deadline change has been both helpful and slow inducing. but, here we go!

The kiss was gentle, chaste, but the press was long and every draw of breath thick with her scent. He’d dreamed of this moment for so very long now, perhaps longer than he’d allow himself to admit, but he had never found the courage to answer the desire. The very idea of him lacking in anything irked him to no end, which only made his resistance of the girl’s allure stubbornly remain.

Now here they were, lips brushing, hearts racing. Sesshoumaru always knew Kagome was fearless; reckless as well, but brave nonetheless. Of course she would make the first move.
