Summary: He’d yearned for her to see him, acknowledge him, yet now all he could do was stare.

I was kinda meh about this one, but with it being such a small word count i decided to keep it in following the other two weekly prompts the same way.

He was silent still, gazing, admiring, drinking in a sight so long awaited, so long desired and missed. Her voice, her smile, the way her bright eyes pinched and grew warm as those lips curled upward. How was it just seeing them again made his renewed yearning turn over and double? Exponential, and far too demanding in its gentle thrall.

Sesshoumaru couldn’t say how, exactly, such a fierce personality could also be so soft, come from someone who appeared so delicate. She belied her features, porcelain and bold like a doll, never failing to surprise him her strength and power.
