Summary: He just wanted her to look at him. It had been so long.

I'm not sure, but from how i've been going it looks like several of these may indeed end up flowing together. A part of me doesn't want to do that too much, or at least make it so the pieces themselves can stand alone even if they technically follow one another. I don't know, we'll see. If they are a part of this 'flow' i will state that in the type section. :)

He was silently willing her to look at him as he stopped, stared, waited. Just a glance, just a glimpse of those mesmeric eyes, sapphire and bright, bleeding into his soul to capture whatever warmth still lingered. Warmth he never thought he possessed until her.

Another waft of the light spring breeze brought her scent to him, brushing his senses like a caress, and his eyes slipped shut as he breathed it in. He’d missed her, he’d missed her and yet even now he wasn’t certain he could truly admit it. Certainly not how much, how deeply.

Despite how his fingers twitched at his sides and his muscles coiled, tensed, wanting to move from the spot he lingered, Sesshoumaru stayed. He released a slow breath, palliative and quiet, before finally reopening his eyes.

Surprising him as much as pleasing, he found her gaze fixed with his, her regard of him as gentle and calm as her countenance.

"Hello Sesshoumaru.” Her smile warmed, and, unintentionally, he felt something softening in his own regard of her.
