Meeting the family and the forgiven

*Last time*

"I wonder who is merging with my dad's company?" Kagome thought out loud

"Kagome, didn't any one tell you?"

"Tell me what Sesshou"

"I own the company that's merging with your dad."

*This time*

Kagome sat there with her mouth agape. "Are you serious? That's great Sesshou!" Kagome said as she jumped up to put her arms around his neck and kiss him.

"So Kagome you do realize that I will be meeting your dad and you will be meeting my parents tomorrow morning."

"Oh my I almost forgot. Sesshou do you think they'll like me?"

"Of course Kagome. How can anyone not like you? You're smart, caring, and beautiful." Kagome hugged Sesshomaru again.

"Ok Fluffy its time for bed."

Sesshomaru grinned at the nickname and they both went to bed.

The next morning they got up and got ready to go meet their parents and Kagome's little brother. Kagome was wearing a pink shirt that says 'Worlds #1 mom' that Sesshomaru got her, a pair of faded glory flare jeans and pink heel sandals. Her black hair was back in a twist with two light pink chopsticks. She also had blush pink eye shadow, a light pink lip gloss, and a light blush. She also had diamond earrings, a thin silver chain holding the sapphire crest moon Sesshomaru gave her, and her tail was brushed till it was shining with perfection.

Sesshomaru was wearing a plain black button up shirt and denim jeans. He had on black shoes and a rollex watch, his silver hair was left down, the way Kagome liked it, and he had on a thin silver chain as well. They headed over to the restaurant to meet everyone. "Kagome!" Souta yelled as he ran to meet Kagome.

"Hey souta hows my little bro." Kagome asked.

Souta was wearing a Sukisho anime shirt, beige shorts and white tennis shoes. He had black/brown hair and brown eyes. "I'm good. I found a new anime."

"That's awesome Souta." Kagome said

Souta looked up and saw Sesshomaru, "Hi you look like Inu-Yasha." He said.

"Souta this is my mate Sesshomaru." She leaned down and whispered "You might not want to compare him to Sesshomaru."

"Ok sis"

"Kagome, How's my little girl." Mr. Higurashi asked.

"Hey dad I'm fine how was your business trip?"

"It went well."

"Dad this is Sesshomaru but I guess you already know each other."

"Yes we've met but it is a pleasure to see you again Toshen-san."

"Like wise Sesshomaru. I couldn't have picked a better man for my daughter."

"Thank you sir."

"Sesshomaru I missed you" Izayoi said

"It's nice to see you too." Sesshomaru said as he hugged his step-mother

"Sesshomaru nice to to see you again son hows the business?" Inu-tashio said with a slap to Sesshomaru's back.

"like wise" He said as he shook his father's hand.

"Father, Mother(step) this is Kagome my mate."

"Nice to meet you both.'' Kagome said in a cheery voice.

"Kagome it is very nice to meet you too." Izayoi said.

"It's nice to meet you Kagome. I have a daughter now!" Inu-Tashio said with the biggest grin.

"Well I guess you've all met and you all know me." A sad voice said. "I'm just here to apologize to the bride and groom" They all turned around to see Inu-Yasha standing there.

"Kagome, Sesshomaru I am so sorry for all I've done. Especially you Kagome I should have never called you what I did. I've known you liked my brother since you met him and it only increased after he saved you from Naraku. I know he loves you and can protect you. He's proven it time and time again. I apologize for all I've done and I can promise the sluts that kidnapped you will never bother you again. Neither will I." Inu-Yasha said.

He turned to leave but was stopped by a hand on his shoulder. He turned around and saw Kagome and Sesshomaru standing there. "Inu-Yasha" Kagome said "Of course we forgive you. You are my friend and now my brother. You always protected me and you can't just walk away."

"Inu-Yasha will you be a best man at our wedding?" Sesshomaru asked

"Of course" Inu-Yasha said as he hugged Kagome with tears in his eyes.
