A/N: I had originally started on this piece in a thought to put it up in r0o's GM challenge. As I don't know if this is "GM worthy", I'm not sure if I should offer it up to r0o-sama's challenge. I got the idea while watching the Nationals competition in Spokane, WA.  Sorry if it seems to jump a lot.  I tried to get into the mind of a skater, and my guess would be that while their mind is occupied, things may be pretty jumbled or they would fall a lot.

We started slow. His hands roaming over me. His lips brushed brushed against my skin, making me come alive in his arms. He held me close as we moved faster. He always kept contact with some part of my body.

A brush here. A caress there. Always inconspicuous, making me guess if I'd really felt it.

He pulled me against him and I wrapped my legs around his waist. I leaned back, letting my hair fall down to the floor. The positions he could get me in would make any contortionist turn green with envy. He held my hips tight as he spun us around, the sudden change making me dizzy.

The disorienting feeling lasted only a moment and our positions changed again. He was behind me, now. One arm wrapped around my chest, his hand brushing my breast. The other grasped my right leg and lifted it up high. He thrust himself against me, pushing me forward. We started breathing as one.

As he let my leg drop back down, his hand moved up my thigh and left a tingling sensation in its wake. We moved as one being, reaching for the same goal. Our bodies in sync with the music we could hear playing around us.

He slowly slid back and away from me. I felt a loss of warmth and feeling with his absence. It showed in my movements. I slowly came down from the high he inspired within my body. The music around me seemed to somber with my mood. I turned in search of him, blinded by the bright light that hit my eyes. I stilled as sadness filled me.

Without warning, his hands were on me again, lifting me up quickly. His lips were so close my my skin, his warm breath breathing against my ear was giving me goosebumps. As fast as my desire dropped, he brought that high back. Our bodies slid against one another, lust burning through our eyes as we looked upon each other.

A gleam in his eye told me to hold on, that I was going for a ride. And I did. He lifted me up and I began to fly. Soaring higher and higher. I felt as if I was being lowered, and I felt his head between my legs. The high didn't end. My head felt like it was spinning. I couldn't stop the feeling from washing over me. Gods, he was so good.

When I next became aware of my surroundings, I was sliding down his body. Lower and lower still until he was towering above me. I laid between his legs and let him control our movements. He started slow and smooth, but that didn't last long. He was getting faster and faster, his controlled motions giving way to something else.

He lifted me up and we were again moving as one. The music around us increased in speed, just as we did. We were so close, our movements becoming almost desperate. I wrapped my arms around him and held on for the ride of my life. Faster and faster. Harder and harder. The sound of our bodies hitting each other spurred us forward.

So close. We were so close. I could feel it.

It. Was. Right. There!

I gasped and threw myself against him. The euphoric feeling washing over us both as we panted and tried to catch our breaths. I could feel his head on my shoulder, his chest heaving and his breath raging against my neck. My own breath hit his bare arm and came back to me. I kissed what skin I could reach, as he did the same. He kissed me over and over, making a path along my shoulder and neck. When he reached my mouth, he couldn't get enough.

"Gods, Kagome," he whispered to me, oblivious to everything else. "You were amazing."

I returned his passionate kisses with fervor. "As were you, Sesshoumaru," I replied quietly.

He took my hand and pulled me with him. Sweaty and thirsty, we definitely needed to get cleaned.

"Kagome! Sesshoumaru!"

Our attention was brought back to the present at our names being called.

Suddenly, the sound of applause reached our ears. I looked around and was greeted by the sight of hundreds of people standing and cheering. I was confused for a moment until my eyes fell on a large screen. It showed me and Sesshoumaru. Skating.

That's right.

We were at Nationals. How could I have forgotten?

The squeeze of Sesshoumaru's arm around me reminded me of that. I always forgot where I was when it came to him.

"You two were phenomenal!" Miroku, our trainer, almost shouted at us. He held out our blade guards and led us to the waiting podium.

I slid mine on and grabbed a bottle of water. Watching the playback from the screen, I turned red with some of the moves we pulled. I caught sight of Sesshoumaru's grin and elbowed him in the side. "If you had moved your hand even an inch higher, we would be deducted marks for that," I scolded him.

He pulled me closer and laughed softly. "I didn't hear you complaining at the time," he pointed out.

I crossed my arms and turned away from him.

"Technical marks for Kagome and Sesshoumaru Taisho," came the voice over the loudspeaker, "34.53."

The crowd around us shouted joyously at the announcement. I folded my hands and waited nervously for the artistic marks, positive we were going to be penalized for certain....actions.

"Artistic marks for Kagome and Sesshoumaru Taisho," there was a dramatic pause which I'm sure the announcer put in there just to make my nerves jump into over-drive. "28.95. Total program score for Kagome and Sesshoumaru Taisho, 63.48." The crowd cheered again, louder than before.

I looked up at the scoreboard in disbelief. 63.48. No deductions. It was a first place finish. I felt Sesshoumaru wrap his arms around me in congratulations. The excitement of the moment finally hit me.

I threw myself at my partner.

My husband.

And kissed him deeply.

"You are SO lucky," I told him with a fake scowl on my face.

He kissed me and grinned wickedly. "I'm not lucky, my dear Kagome," he said matter-of-factly. "I'm just that good."

End
