One So Different From the Other

She took his hand and led him to her room. There, she closed the door, leaving the two of them alone together.

“Are you ready for this?” she asked with a small smile but teeth gleaming all the while.

“Well, I…I’ve never--”

“Been with a vampire?” she interrupted him. He didn’t confirm or deny, just looked into her eyes.

She smiled again. “Don’t worry, I’ve never been with a demon either. It’ll be new for both of us.” That was supposed to make him not worry? Oh, she was vexing.

“We’ll go slow.” Oh, so she was the dominant one in the relationship? Not if I have anything to say about it. Not that I’ll be saying much of anything.

She still had a hold on his hand and twined her fingers with his. Her other hand found the back of his neck, tangling in the hair there, and pulling him down to meet her lips.

Always, she felt like she had to hold back, not wanting to ever nick the tongue of a human and lose herself in the bloodlust. But she’d never been with a demon before. She didn’t know how their blood would taste. Though, it wouldn’t be smart to taste now. Although…

He had always held back, too, whenever he was with humans. Though, that was a rarity. He didn’t have the same urge for bloodlust as the woman he was currently with, but it still appealed to him.

But this was different, for the both of them. Both tentative, moving slowly, not knowing how far the limit was. Her lips were barely pressed to his. But he wanted more. He moved his against her own and she responded without much thought. He felt the bed against the backs of his legs and gasped only slightly, but then she became bold. Taking the opportunity to delve into his mouth and explore. Her hand left his neck to rest on his shoulder and push him to sit on the edge.

Still standing above him, she kissed him, untangling her hand from his to cup his face in her hands. He was so warm! Funny, how warm he felt to her hands when he usually was so cold. The ice had cracked after their first meeting. And melted more and more with every one. But just for her. Only for her. It was comforting to know she was the only one able to do so.

He scooted back farther in the bed, taking her with him. She straddled his lap and broke the kiss for much needed air. Though it was her idea, she whimpered at the loss. He rested on his elbows looking up at her.

Hands still on his face slid back into his silver tresses for their silky feel. They ran through it and pulled lightly on some soft strands. His eyes tinged pink for just a second. Her own raven hair fell over her shoulders and covered her eyes. He took a hand to brush her bangs aside and see her dead eyes. Color, but no light. Not even much color. Gray, almost colorless. As if they see through you, or nothing at all.

“Do you fear me?” she whispered. We fear what we do not know. The words came into his head at that moment. He knew her, but not what she was. Hadn’t had many brushes with vampires in the last 700 years. It was true, he feared the unknown. Not something he liked to admit.

“Yes,” he confessed. He wasn’t a liar. She revealed her fangs. “You should.”

His hand tucked the hair behind her ear and he caressed her cheek. Cold. Strange, she was the most fiery person he’d ever met. Speaking of fiery, he brought her down for a hot kiss. It became a little too heated. He cut his tongue on one of her fangs and she quickly drew away.

She held a hand over her mouth and looked through wide eyes. So that is what it tasted like? It was heavenly. Better than any human she’d ever taken. Her eyes lost there pupils and she held still, trying to find some amount of control. He gripped her arms before she might do something.

“Kagome,” he said to her. She opened her mouth to say something, but nothing came. She wet her lips as some incentive to try again.

“Could I…have…more? Just some?” she asked, her voice coming out ragged. Something that should be telling him to fear this side of her, told him to welcome it. He didn’t mind letting her have what she wanted. He nodded only realizing after that he didn’t know if she’d be able to see it in this state.

But she did. When she saw what he had done, she traced a stripe on his face and looked into his amber eyes thankfully. Her hands drifted down until they reached the first button of his shirt and undid the rest to reveal pale skin that rivaled her own. She pushed his shirt over his shoulders and down his arms. He removed it the rest of the way himself.

She removed the undershirt after that. Too many clothes. He chuckled. Had she said that? Or could he suddenly read minds? Her hands ran along the muscles of his abdomen before coming to his shoulders and holding him in place. He held her at her waist. She moved her lips to his neck and kissed tenderly. Her lips parted and she hesitated for just a moment. She bit down and reveled. She drank slowly. She wanted to savor it as much as she‘d like to gulp it down. And she didn’t want to kill him. She cared for him.

Her fangs had more affect on him than he thought they would. He felt the sharp pain when they pierced his skin, but he wasn’t expecting how good it felt when she started drinking. He groaned and his eyes bled red. He was amazed. He felt beyond high and all he’d gotten off was his shirt. His breath came out shorter and he could feel his heart pumping faster. He was in a trance, barely able to keep his eyes open. Was this what it was like to die by a vampire? What a way to go.

Stop. Stop, she told herself, slowing her pressure with each sip so she could eventually. She could feel his essence and didn’t want to take anymore. As thrilling as it was to feel his pulse quicken beneath her lips, she knew she had to stop. So she did.

He could see clearly again. She must have stopped drinking. And he was awake again. She was breathing shallowly against his neck, sending shivers down his spine each time it came in contact with the wound.

Worry seeped into his being for a second. Something he should have asked, but didn’t think to before.

“Kagome?”

“Hmm?” She removed herself from his neck and looked in his eyes. His widened fractionally. Her eyes shone a deep blue, probably the color she had when she was alive. And she…

“You’re warm,” he replied with little surprise in his voice, his question forgotten. She smiled widely, revealing teeth already licked clean.

“I’ve never felt more alive in my life.” That in turn made him smile and he brought her head down to whisper in her ear, “Let’s keep going.”

Her eyes held light and brightened at his words. He turned them over so her back pressed to the bed, leaving her pleasantly surprised. She felt his hands fiddling with the bottom of her shirt this time. He pushed it up, exposing her stomach and placed a kiss at the top of her jeans. Each kiss went higher with each rise of the shirt. He removed it to find the lacy garment on her chest.

It was his turn to toy with her neck. Only his intentions involved licking. He kissed her neck and then tasted her skin. It was losing its warmth and sent shivers up his spine, like a cold aftertaste. I’ll keep her warm.

He licked up her neck to meet the bottom of her jaw and placed a soft kiss there. She whimpered softly. He traveled back down and his teeth made contact with the skin, but didn’t pierce. He grazed his fangs back and forth to ignite a moan from her. He smirked against her skin when she did. He bit down and she exhaled.

He didn’t know what came over him, but when he tasted her blood, it was like nothing else mattered. He would be content to drink her dry; she tasted so good! His eyes were once again red and his irises indigo. There came a point when she stopped him, though. She grabbed a hold of his hair tightly and pulled his head away from her neck. At that point, they both realized how easily they could kill each other. Especially with the all too appealing blood for the both of them.

“No more,” she said calmly.

“But--” he tried, the blood still on his lips.

“No more,” she said again, “for the both of us.” He sighed.

“But we can keep going,” she said with a smirk. “Just not,” she bit his neck lightly, “this.” He nodded. He still wanted her. He was ready to lick the blood off his lips, but she beat him to it. They locked in a rough kiss, mindful of each other’s fangs, wanting no more bloodshed the rest of the night.

He lifted her off the bed high enough to unclasp her bra and looked in her eyes for confirmation. She gave him a look as if to say, “What are you waiting for?” The lacy article of clothing quickly met with the floor.

Before he could do anything, she rose up to meet at his neck. No longer biting, but kissing and tasting. At the same time she undid the button of his slacks. She was talented, he’d give her that. She pulled down and he went for hers, taking the pants and underwear in one motion. They had total access to each other then.

Twin fangs and claws, but of a different species. It was touching, tasting, feeling, kissing, caressing. Loving. Both had never experienced such a feeling as this before. To be with one they genuinely cared for so much. It was breathtaking. They felt what the other was feeling, never feeling more connected to anyone in that moment. In their lives. They were together, and that was all that mattered.

They laid next to each other when they were done, their bodies glistening, drinking each other in. Their breath mingled together, and they felt whole. They didn’t say anything. Just stared into each other’s eyes.

“So…how was that for you?” she asked, trying to catch her breath. He tucked a lock of hair behind her ear.

“Good.” A simple one word answer. That was all she needed.

“Good. Me too.” She pecked him on the nose.

She turned around in his arms, her back pressed to his chest. He kissed her neck and then remembered the question he’d forgotten earlier.

“Kagome?” he asked softly.

“Yes, Sesshomaru?” she replied, eyes closed in contentment.

“Will I become a vampire now?” He drank her blood and she drank his. It seemed like that would be what would happen.

She looked over her shoulder into his eyes and gave him a small smile.

“Only if I wanted you to. You have nothing to worry about.” He looked into her eyes with respect. She thought of how it would be unfair to change him without his consent.

“Thank you.” He placed a kiss to her temple and smoothed down her hair.

“Sesshomaru?” he heard her voice in the darkness.

“Yes?”

“I love you.” He knew she meant it. She wasn’t one to throw words around like they had no meaning. He held her tighter to him and buried his face in her hair.

“I love you, too,” came his muffled response. He wasn’t one to throw words out either.

Kagome slept the first time in years with a smile on her lips, in the arms of the one she loved.

*****************

I know vampires are being so overused, but I wanted to know what it’d be like between a demon and a vampire. I’m warped.

But anyway, this was fun. Sorry I couldn’t give you much detail on the best part, at least for some people. My imagination only goes so far. Tell me if I need to up the rating and if i should include any other genres! Good title? Should I change it?

I want to write a whole sess/kag story sometime soon. I just need to come up with the plot and everything.

Until next time.
