Prompt 689: Acarus

The next 13 prompts are from the first half of the Alphabet Challenge! Part 2!. So far A-M have been given and I will use the other half once they have been posted.

Prompt 1: Acarus- A type of flour mite (Acarus siro)

As the days passed, quickly becoming months, without any further unexplainable quarrels between those under the protection of the barrier, it became clear to everyone in the council that it had indeed been Kagome's extra power in the barrier that had caused the problem in the first place. As much as she hated to believe it had been her fault yet again, she took solace in the knowledge that no one had been seriously hurt and it was now over.

Now the council was able to move onto other important matters that needed their attention; including the acarus infestation that was currently wreaking havoc on their food stores.
