Chapter 19 - The Silent Challenge

Inuyasha felt like he shouldn't be watching, not this time. This seemed too intimate, too special, and suddenly he felt like an outsider again. When he moved to rise and leave the couple alone, Kagome caught his hand. Realizing that she hadn't forgotten about him was a load off his mind, and he smiled. Hearing his brother's confession also made him smile. Finally, the taiyoukai had said it. He just hoped his brother truly meant it, though, if he judged by tone alone, he knew that Sesshoumaru did. His words were soaked in honesty.

Kagome held tight to the hanyou's hand and sighed happily as he rolled closer to the pair. Sesshoumaru tried to ignore his brother. He just made a huge confession and really, it should have been a private moment. Except, he realized, he had been there when Inuyasha first confessed his true feelings. They were all in this together, so jealousy and desires for privacy were things better forgotten.

Sesshoumaru caught Inuyasha's free hand and tugged him closer. He sat back on his heels, increasing the speed of his thrusts, while guiding his younger brother to their miko's breasts.
