Chapter 79 - Revenge

Sesshoumaru was thrilled. They had finally entered the Western Lands, his domain. Now he could lead them to much more adequate shelter. He had little places all over the West so that he and his small pack could rest comfortably while he patrolled his lands and he was happy that Kagome and the rest of the group would be able to make good use of them.

When dinnertime was approaching, the taiyoukai took the lead, guiding the group to a cave. He led them through a dark tunnel towards one of his dens. Kagome clung tightly to his arm, a flashlight in her free hand, as they walked.

"A cave?" she asked.

"I promise you, it will be more comfortable that camping out in the open. It is also safer, easily defensible, if we were to be attacked during the night," he assured her. She would be impressed with their accommodations, he was certain of it. Looks could be deceiving and this particular den had all the comforts of home.

Finally, they reached a large chamber and Sesshoumaru flared his youki, causing the fire pit to flare to life. "There are bedrooms here, here, and here," the taiyoukai said, gesturing to various openings leading out of the main chamber. "I will be staying in this room."

"Good, because the wench isn't sleeping with you," Inuyasha growled.

"Inuyasha," Kagome growled back. "I will sleep with Sesshoumaru if I feel like it. I'll also fuck him if I feel like it," she said, her tone showing her irritation with the hanyou's interference. "You promised to stay out of it."

"But Kagome," the hanyou whined.

Kagome shook her head and headed back to Sesshoumaru's side. There was heat in her eyes as she stretched up on her toes, clinging to the spikes on his armor, to kiss him passionately. That look, combined with the kiss, was enough to send blood rushing south, but she wasn't done yet. The miko ran her hand down the front of his armor, going lower than she usually did, and Sesshoumaru found himself cursing that armor. If he wasn't wearing it, she would have touched his cock, which was something he was growing almost desperate for. Her touch had been exquisite and he craved it once more.

She wrapped her hand around the bow of his sash and tugged gently; leading him through the fabric curtain covering the entrance to his chambers while everyone looked on in shock at the miko's forwardness. Inuyasha swallowed his complaints, not wanting to anger her further. Instead, he made himself comfortable, encouraging the others to do the same.

Once they were alone, Kagome pressed her lips to his again, the kiss eager and needy. It wasn't until he heard her mumble "Did you fuck him? I'll show him." did Sesshoumaru realize she was using him against the hanyou, punishing her friend for his many comments and intrusions into their relationship. He carefully stepped back, his hands on the miko's waist to keep her body away from his.

"What are you doing?" Kagome whined. "Don't you want me?"

"Of course I do," Sesshoumaru replied softly. "But I will not be a tool in your revenge on the hanyou. If that is the reason you desire to be with me then we will not be continuing tonight."

The miko rolled her eyes. "He has nothing to do with this, besides that it's none of his business what I choose to do. I want you."

The taiyoukai studied her eyes carefully, seeing both nervousness and determination there. "You are not ready for sex," he stated matter-of-factly. He could see that she was pushing herself to do it because of Inuyasha's insistence that she not, and he refused to be a part of that.

"But last time was so nice."

"I did not say that I would not touch you," Sesshoumaru replied with a smirk. "Are you not the slightest bit concerned about the others overhearing our activities?" His smirk widened as she blushed brightly, realizing that the curtain covering the door would do nothing to quiet her cries of pleasure. In fact, she was sure everyone could hear their every word.

"Oh, Gods," she murmured, her face the color of a tomato. "There isn't even a door. We can't do anything!"

Sesshoumaru simply grinned at the miko before flaring his youki, erecting a barrier around the room. "No one will hear a thing," he said before stepping closer to the miko. "Now, if you promise to forget all about the annoyance that is Inuyasha, I would be happy to make you scream my name."

Kagome rolled her eyes at the taiyoukai's confidence. "As if you could," she teased.

"I would be more than happy to prove myself," he shot back.

Challenge issued and accepted, the miko slowly began to pull her shirt over her head, loving the feel of Sesshoumaru's eyes on her. This was going to be fun.
