Chapter 40 - Cold Water

"So, is Inuyasha right?" Kagome asked with a small grin.

"About what?" the taiyoukai inquired.

"About you needing to find cold water if I keep getting you... excited."

"This Sesshoumaru has a great deal of self-control. I am more than capable of dealing with any discomfort from being aroused."

"Oh," the miko said. "So does that mean you won't," she paused, searching for the right wording, which in reality was more like words she could actually bring herself to say. "...take care of it yourself?" She could almost see him doing it. She could see the stripes on his wrist as his hand moved, wrapped around his hard length, pleasuring himself. Sure, she hadn't seen that particular part of his body yet, but she'd seen everything else. She couldn't help but wonder if he had stripes hiding under his fundoshi. Just the thought had her intensely curious.

Sesshoumaru studied Kagome, noticing the slight blush on her cheeks. So she was embarrassed by the idea of masturbation, was she? "Why? Are you interested in assisting me?" he practically purred at her.

"What? No!" the miko exclaimed, shocked by his forwardness.

"Tell me, Kagome," Sesshoumaru said while stepping closer, invading her personal space, "what would you do if I were to arouse you?" the taiyoukai whispered in her ear before tracing the rounded shell with his tongue.

The miko shivered at the sensation but quickly regained her composure. "I'm not so sure you could," she said back quickly, her teasing tone back with a vengeance.

"Is that a challenge?" he asked her, more than up for it if it was. He knew he was pushing her limits as her cheeks now burned a brilliant red, but he was having fun. She was incredibly attractive when she was embarrassed. Besides, she'd started it.

"N...no," Kagome stuttered, backing away from the male she really desired to get closer to. "Now quit it. We're supposed to be getting to know each other."

"Is learning about your masturbatory habits not learning about you?" Sesshoumaru asked with a wicked smirk.

"No!" the miko exclaimed. "Now behave or take me back to camp."

The taiyoukai internally sighed but nodded. "Come, sit." Kagome reluctantly accepted her extended hand and allowed him to lead her to a large rock and the two sat side by side.

"So," the miko began with a grin. "Do you think that means Inuyasha sits in cold water when he's horny?" She could help but giggle at her own question and the mental image it conjured up.

Sesshoumaru smirked. "I would rather not know."
