Tests

With a groan, Kagome hit her head on her desk repeatedly. She had been sick for a month with mono and go figure, when she came back it was during finals. She needed to get at least a sixty to pass and unfortunately History wasn’t her best subject. Especially with such a demonic teacher like Taisho. He was a harsh teacher who gave way to no one. If someone failed, then he would fail them. He hated teacher pets and even more women who constantly hit on him. Especially students. Taisho was a demon teacher and even gotten the nickname ‘Killing Perfection’ by all the students.

‘If you suck up to me, try and woe me with gifts, or even flirt with me, expect a failing grade in this class.’ He straight out said on the first day.

Sure, Kagome got at least low B’s in all the other classes, for the exception of Taisho’s class. History was her worst subject and she bombed the test. Straight out fifty percent on the test. She knew she couldn’t beg him to let her make it up. He would never let her make it up. Not in a million years! She would have to take the class all over again now.

“Higurashi.” Taisho’s voice said, slicing the noise in the class. Oh how he loved being able to cough and everyone would just shut up. “You will see me after school today.”

Kagome lifted her head to look over at the deadly handsome teacher standing there. Did that mean that he was going to hand her a grave stone? Tell her that she was hopeless and that she should live the rest of her miserable life flipping hamburgers at WacDonalds?

“Yes Taisho-sensei.” She said in a small voice. Oh god she was scared. And Kagome had one more class to go!

“What did you do Kagome?” Sango asked her friend at their last class. Fortunately it was study hour. “I’ve never seen him call anyone after school. Even his own little brother and Inuyasha gets pelted with chalk when he does something wrong.”

Kagome groaned as she stopped reading her favorite fanfic story that she printed off from the net. “I don’t know Sango.” The girl admitted. “I didn’t do anything wrong. Sure, I failed his test horribly, but other’s had done worse then me. I mean, Ayame got a zero, begged him to retake it, and he flat out refused. So I don’t see why he would call me out. Knowing that cold hearted bastard, he’s going to tell me that I’m a horrible student and I should quit while I’m ahead.”

Sango rolled her eyes at her friend. “Oh get that idea out of your head. You were sick for a whole month. You made sure that you got your homework done when I brought it to you. For all we know, he’s going to tell you that you’re a fantastic student and that he wants to give you a second chance because he doesn’t want to see you fail.”

The raven haired girl glared at her friend. “Yea right.”

“It’s possible.” Sango shrugged.

“But its Taisho-sensei.”

“Miracles are wonderful things aren’t they?”

Kagome continued to glare at her best friend before going back to the story. It was a story about how a miko kept getting in trouble and how a taiyoukai kept saving her over and over again. The miko was slowly falling in love, but kept denying it where the Taiyoukai refused to believe that he had any other feelings towards the miko for the exception of Lust and maybe some need to have her around to watch his ward. With a sigh, Kagome kept reading the story where the miko was captured once more.

“I wish I was as brave as the miko in this story.” Kagome muttered. “That way I would be able to deal with Taisho-sensei easier.”

Sango shook her head. “Your braver then you give yourself credit for Kags. Anyways, that was the last bell. Call me later and tell me what happened.

Groaning to herself, Kagome gathered her stuff and headed off to meet her demise. She could have sworn funeral music was playing in the background.

Sesshomaru sat in front of his desk, his mind focused on one thing. That one thing happened to be the woman standing before him. Her long raven hair framed her beautiful face and spilled down her back as if it was a curtain. Her deep chocolate eyes watched him, obviously nervous about something. Of course he didn’t say anything at first. He wanted to draw this out. How long had the man been watching the girl in class? He did nothing knowing that he was a teacher and she was his student. But he couldn’t contain it anymore. Not after Kouga confessed to her in the hallway. Before Sesshomaru could do anything though, Kagome ended up sick with mono for a whole month!

“Higurashi.” He said, his voice portraying nothing. “I see you failed your final.”

Kagome swallowed, trying to keep her nerves in tack. It would do her no good to break down before the man. “Yes sir.” She said softly.

Golden eyes looked her up and down. “You look as if you’re in good health now. I could only assume while you were sick, you had no time to study?”

Kagome gave a small nod. “Yes sir.”

“Yet you had enough time to do your homework.” It wasn’t a question, it was a statement.

Kagome said nothing this time, just watched him.

Sesshomaru allowed a smirk to reach his lips. “I can give you a chance Kagome, to make up this test. To correct this mistake that you’ve caused.”

Kagome stared at him in shock. Sesshomaru Taisho never gave anyone second chances! It was like the gates of heaven opened up for her and began to sing their wonderful tune to her. “What do I have to do Taisho-sensei?” She asked him, trying to keep her voice even.

He leaned against his desk, his hand holding up his chin. “Forty eight hours of tutoring Kagome.” He said, the smirk never leaving his lips. “All during the summer. My place or your place, it doesn’t matter.”

With his words, her jaw dropped. “Excuse me sir… did you say forty eight hours? And… and you’re going to tutor me?”

He gave a small nod. “All on history. Of course, you could always deny this and I can fail you. After all, you are always welcome to any choice available to you.”

It wasn’t a hard decision to make. Fail or be tutored by the sexiest man on earth during the summer. She could stand history lesions if it was him. “So… your place?”

His smirk only turned deadly. Hook, line, and sinker. “My place would be perfect.”

‘CRACK’

“Dude! Inuyasha, that was too hard! It crashed though the window!”

“Tch. It was Sesshomaru’s classroom. I’m sure that prick is already heading home.”

Sesshomaru tried his best to keep calm. The rock had not only crashed though his classroom window, but it hit on the side of the head. Oh he was going to kill the boy. As soon as they got home, he was going to rip his limbs off one by one.

“You know, I think it would be easier to play hacky sack with and actually bean bag ball instead of a rock.” Miroku said to his friend.

“And what’s the fun in that?” Inuyasha demanded.

Miroku pointed at the window where it Sesshomaru stood, the rock in his hands. “Because Inuyasha my friend, it was nice knowing you.”

“Higurashi,” Sesshomaru said, his voice sounding dangerous. “I believe it might be easier to have our first session at your house. The house will be under maintence for a while.” Yes, he was going to pain the walls with the boy’s blood.

Kagome scooted back. “Gottcha.” She said before darting out of the classroom. Oh how glad she was that she wasn’t in Inuyasha’s shoes at the current moment.
