Kagome's lesson.

Kagome rode on Inu-yasha's back. They were chasing after a snake demon. Inu-yasha cursed. "That Bastard can move awfully fast for a legless lizard." Kagome knocked another arrow at it, but it managed to flick out of the way at the last moment."Inu-yasha, you need to get me closer, I can't get a good shot!" Inu-yasha turned toward Kagome, keeping a confused demon in his peripheral vision.

"Kagome... you've never been eaten before, have you?" Kagome looked at him with a look of horror. "Wh-what?" She stammered. Inu-yasha was tired of her not letting him take risks, and, she had never been eaten! Instead of explaining to her what was about to happen, he simply lifted Kagome off of the ground, and tossed her to the demon. Kagome screamed and landed softly on the ground not a foot from the huge snake. Inu-yasha regarded the snake directly. "Teach her a lesson."

Kagome screamed as the snake wrapped her in its' coils. Inu-yasha sat on a nearby rock, and watched the show.
