Eggs

Disclaimer: I do not own Inuyasha...or any eggs. Last time I bought eggs they ended up sitting in my fridge for a long time. I think it was like 5 months. I don't even know if eggs can go bad...Anyway this was written for Nobody's Weekly Challenge.

Eggs

Kagome gasped as she woke up from her dream. Lately she had been having dreams that involved Sesshomaru. They started out innocent enough. She would be walking through a forest then he would come and they would talk. As the days passed her dreams progressed to where they didn't even talk. He would just walk up to her, make her all hot and bothered, and then take her against the nearest tree. 'Or in a hot spring, or her on top, or him behind her...AH!' She couldn't even think straight anymore. She was just so haunted by these dreams and couldn't get any peace. 'Haunted? Why are you kidding yourself?' She rolled her eyes at herself and got up from her sleeping bag, raising her arms above her head and stretching. Hearing soft snoring she turned around to find Shippo next to her sleeping bag curled into a little ball. Ever since the last fight with Naraku he had began sleeping next to her at night. 'Poor little guy...'

The sound of leaves crinkling had Kagome quickly whipping back around only to gaze into familiar golden eyes. She gasped as her mind flashed back to her dream last night. She could still feel his hands slowly moving down her body, and his mouth on her breasts...

"EGGS!!", she quickly yelled out, desperate to get her mind off the track it was currently on.  Miroku and Sango shot up from the ground weapons ready, scanning the forest for signs of danger. They quickly noticed that Inuyasha didn't have Tetsaiga out and slowly relaxed, gazing curiously at his face. It was shocked and he looked as if Naraku just danced by, twirling and singing about friendship. They followed his gaze and saw Kagome making breakfast quickly muttering to herself.

Sango shared a look with Miroku. "Is everything alright?" she asked hesitantly.

Kagome turned around with an overly bright smile on. "Of course! I'm just making breakfast and  thinking about recipes for some of my favorite foods! Yep! Thinking good thoughts! No bad ones what so ever! Doesn't the sky look so blue today? It kind of reminds me of the moon on Se-" she cut herself off, eyes widening to an almost comical amount.

Miroku and Sango shared another look with each other. Sango shrugged as if to say 'Your turn'. Miroku walked over to Kagome and put his hands on her shoulders. "Did you get enough sleep last night? Is there something bothering you?"

"Yes!" She said quickly. "Everything is A-Okay. I just had a weird dream last night that didn't involve anyone that was emotionless or dangerous." Kagome closed her eyes exasperated. 'Great job dummy. Now they are going to think you're insane. And A-Okay? Who says that?'

The staring stopped when Shippo woke up from his sleep. "What's wrong? Did Inuyasha say something stupid again?"

"WHAT?! I didn't say anything! And I'm not stupid!" Inuyasha chased after Shippo, yelling in triumph when he caught him and bonked him on the head. Shippo's eyes began to water, and he ran over to Kagome, who checked over his head and noticed a bump beginning to form.

"Inuyasha! Why did you have to hit him!? He's a little kid!" She yelled angrily.

"Fine! Take his side! He started it!" Inuyasha said childishly. He humphed and jumped up into the tree above him.

The water above the fire boiling stopped Kagome from commenting how immature he was acting. Having  ramen for breakfast wasn't one of her favorites but they were running low on everything else and Inuyasha usually complained if he had something else. She just didn't feel like having another argument about how un-nutritional it was to eat, especially after her mini break down that morning.

The day passed quickly after they set out again. They decided that they should begin the head back to Edo to regroup and see if Kaede had heard any rumors about jewel shards or Naraku appearances. Kagome decided that when they got there, she would ask the group if she could go home again and restock everything. She knew Miroku and Sango would have no problem, and she knew that Inuyasha would have a fit and try and stop her, like usual.

The shard hunters arrived at Kaede's three days later, exhausted in their rush to get a break and have some peace and quiet.

"HELL NO YOU'RE NOT GOING!"

"I already told you Inuyasha! I need to replenish all the supplies! What happens if I got hurt and I died because we didn't have my first aid kit?!"

Inuyasha quickly shut his mouth. Hook.

"What would you tell my mom? You know how much she trusts you!"

His ears lowered to his head. Line.

"Plus, we don't have any ramen left."

Sinker.

"Fine. But I'm coming to get you tomorrow."

Kagome brightened. "Thanks Inuyasha!" 'Ha. I knew that would work!'

Quickly hoisting the bag onto her shoulders, she waved to everyone and set out for the well. The trip only took five minutes and she didn't realize she wasn't alone when she got there because she was deep in thought.

'Why am I having dreams about Sesshomaru? Sure he's gorgeous but he's our enemy. Well...not anymore because he gave up trying to take Tetsaiga from Inuyasha once he realized that it protected his demon blood. Then all of the sudden he shows up with that cute little girl Rin following him around everywhere. That doesn't even make sense. He always talks about Inuyasha being a hanyou and everything and then he lets a human follow him around?' As she neared the well, her feet slowed down.

'Maybe...he doesn't hate humans as he says.' She strode up to the well and as soon as she put one foot in, she become conscious of someone else in the clearing. Kagome looked up and looked gazes with amber.

"Sesshomaru!", she gasped. Her dream came back to her in a flash. "Wh-what are you d-doing here?!"

His walk up to her made her feel like he was stalking his prey and her breath came faster. His gaze slowly lowered down her body until his eyes finally came back to meet hers. He stopped five feet away from her and finally answered.

"Miko."

"Kagome! My name is Kagome!" She answered back automatically. Kagome quickly realized what she said and who she said it to and flinched.

"I know what it is." He purred. Her eyes zipped up to his face and realized that he had gotten closer to her. He was now right in front of her and she knew that if she moved any part of her they would be touching. She gasped when she finally apprehended what he said and her eyes widened.

Sesshomaru knew when she finally grasped what he had said and laughed quietly.

Her eyes became even wider upon hearing him laugh. Not just because he laughed but also because when he did his chest rumbled and she could feel it. It was a husky sound and made her abdomen clinch in arousal. She hoped he couldn't smell her reaction and was embarrassed when she saw him discreetly sniff the air.

He leaned closer to her and lowered his face to her neck. Kagome heard him inhale deeply and didn't move a muscle. She did flinch however when she felt his tongue on her neck.

His arms came up and held her as he slowly licked and nibbled on her neck. Heat began to pool in between her thighs. When he began to pull away she noticed that her hands were in his hair and wondered to herself when that happened.

Sesshomaru straightened and looked her in the eye. He leaned forward again until his mouth was near her ear.

"Until next time, Kagome.''

He turned around, not without first kissing her neck, and walked back into the forest.

Kagome stood shocked and then slowly turned to the well and jumped in.

"Wow...I am insane."
