Ch.1

He sat on a bench across from where his idiot half-brother had his law offices waiting for the moron to come into work. He, Sesshoumaru, the greatest Tai in all Japan was loathe to admit he needed his moronic brothers help, Kami help him. Some dirt bag that had worked for him was trying to sue him, 'idiot' he thought. Thoughts rolling around in his head when the most sensual scent he had ever had the pleasure of smelling, drifted past his nose. The newspaper was set to the side, looking for the owner of such a pleasurable scent, "where are you" he said to himself. There walking into the building that his brother's office was in, was perhaps the loveliest creature he had ever seen. She was wearing a black suit; the skirt was quite tight 'what a delectable ass' he thought. His persual of her continued, 'ah red stilettos, perfect!' He was about to get up to follow her when she turned to face him, he was stuck in a trance she had the most mesmerizing sapphire eyes he'd seen. He took in her scent again, 'what was that, a miko, powerful one too'. She started to turn to go into the building, a slight blush on her face, 'how delightful' he thought. He closed his eyes, took in one last pull of her scent memorizing it before he went to her, he had to find out who she was. When he opened his eyes she was gone, 'shit, I have to find her'.

Kagome was on her way into the office, she was always the first one in, in the morning. Her partner and best friend Inuyasha was always late, "probably another one night stand" she said to herself. Her best friend was such a playboy, she was always on him to be more careful, he was going to be in serious trouble one day if he didn't watch it! Her thoughts on her idiot best friend came to an immediate halt when she felt the strongest youkai she had ever felt. 'What in Kamis name, I never felt anything like this before', she turned to see if she could find the owner of such an aura. "Like the sun" she whispered, 'those eyes are beautiful' she thought. She felt her cheeks starting to warm indicating the on coming blush, she had never seen such intense eyes before, he was a beautiful man. 'I have to get out of here' she noticed he closed his eyes, she turned and hurried inside. She got to the elevator pushed the button for the 8th floor, as the doors where closing she caught sight of him, she couldn't look him in the eyes again so she turned to mess around in her briefcase.

 When he got to the elevator he saw her as the doors where closing, back to him ' ah that ass' he thought, "run all you want, I will find you" he whispered to himself. He waited until the elevator stopped watching the floor it had stopped on, it was the same floor his brothers office was on, 'that means I don't have to search all over this building'. He caught the next elevator up, and as he was walking off he heard his hated brother's voice from the stair well talking on the phone. When Inuyasha opened the door from the stairs, he caught site of his brother, not how he wanted to start his morning!!! "What the hell are you doing here Fluffy!" Inuyasha raised his voice a little more after every word. 'How he and I share the same blood is beyond me, really he must come from the milk man', "Hanyou, shut the hole in your face, I have a problem I need ..............help with", he sighed there went his peaceful morning and thoughts of black haired beauty. "Wait!!! the great and powerful Sesshoumaru needs his HANYOU brothers HELP!!!" Inuyasha ran to the window and looked out this a dazed expression on his face, then shouted "I DON'T SEE ANY PIGS" by this time Kagome heard him screaming like a banshee, and went out to investigate. She started asking her partner what was wrong as the door was opening and sited him. She was staring at a bottomless pit of gold, her heart started to pound faster and faster. Then she thought she'd be the bigger person and introduce herself to the god before her, voice slightly trembling, she brought her hand out for a shake "I'm Kagome" she said. He thought 'she's his partner', he saw her put her hand out for an introduction and noticed the slight tremble. He took her hand brought it up to his mouth for a light kiss, and turned palm up as he did so "Sesshoumaru" was all he said, that's all he could get out! She was blushing like mad, when a harsh voice cut in, "OH HELL NO SESSHOUMARU, you leave Kagome alone". Inuyasha couldn't believe his eyes; he's never seen his brother look like that at anyone.
