Chapter 11 - Home Again

*Contradicting Interdiction* (Stella's Soundtrack Challenge)

As soon as the elevator bell dinged and the door opened to their apartment, Sesshoumaru scooped Kagome up in his arms. She squealed in surprise and laughed as he hurriedly carried her to their bedroom. He had some unfinished business to attend to. Sitting through the dinner and giving his short speech at the aquarium had been a nightmare and he had been counting the minutes until he could get her home and screw her brains out.

"Sesshoumaru," she gasped as he laid her on the bed and flipped her dress up out of the way. "We... hang on a second!"

The taiyoukai looked up at her in surprise. Would she actually deny him after what they did just  hours before? He knew he shouldn't have pushed her, but she was just so arousing! He felt guilty for persuading her to break their agreement, but he needed her right now. Not being able to finish had left him frustrated beyond belief, and he had been fantasizing about what he would do to her the remainder of their evening after nearly getting caught.

Seeing his eyes focused on hers, Kagome sighed. "I think we need to go back to the deal. If we're just having sex, then we're not going to be learning about each other."

Sesshoumaru snarled, and Kagome laughed. "I meant after tonight," she assured him. "I wouldn't leave you hanging like this. You look like you're on the verge of losing control."

"I am," he said, his voice husky with his beast floating just below the surface.

"We can do this tonight, but tomorrow, the deal starts again, okay? We have to try to resist, no matter how tempting it is to give in. We can't have meaningful conversations while you're fucking me senseless."

"I will agree to try," he said with a seductive smirk. "It is not my fault everything about you turns me on. I consider it a good thing."

"So do I," she agreed. It was the same for her. Everything about Sesshoumaru excited her: his appearance, his voice, his slightly twisted sense of humor, and even his sometimes-snooty attitude. She loved him, all of him, and she found herself wanting him constantly. Still, she knew she was right about this. They needed a strong basis for their relationship if they wanted it to last.

She knew he intended to make her his mate, and that was a permanent connection. There was no such thing as divorce in demon society. Only death could separate them, and she didn't want either of them to end up miserable and resentful of the other. She didn't think it would happen, but it was always a possibility if they didn't find out more about each other and make sure they were truly compatible.

"Try hard," she nudged for a more firm agreement.

"I will do everything in my power to resist your charms," he said with a playful smirk. "Now, may I continue?"

Kagome smiled. He was so eager it was adorable, but the heat in his eyes had her insides clenching and swirling already. This was going to be a wonderful night, that much was certain. The miko nodded, and Sesshoumaru let out a sigh of relief.

An instant later, her panties were across the room, and his face was between her thighs. Sesshoumaru growled at her, but climbed off her body, allowing her to rise. He watched heatedly as she unzipped the evening gown and allowed it to slip from her body. She hadn't been wearing a bra, so she was suddenly nude before him. She bent over to pick up the dress, planning on hanging it up, but she quickly found a taiyoukai pressed to her back, leaning over her body. He carefully pushed her to her hands and knees, and Kagome shivered again in both anticipation and excitement.

She could feel his hard length pressed against her thigh, so hot it felt as if it were branding her skin, and she moaned aloud, dropping her head to the floor, cradled in her arms. This was going to be good.

The taiyoukai, beast now fully in control, growled his pleasure at her submission. She remained perfectly still as he caged her in with his much larger form. He wrapped one hand around his cock and lined it up with her entrance before thrusting in quickly. Kagome let out a load moan at the quick invasion, though her arms muffled the sound.

Soon the sound of skin hitting skin and vicious growls were all that could be heard in the room. The miko knew she was going to have rug burn from his rough movements that sent her knees and lower arms sliding along the carpet, but she didn't care in the least. It was too good to worry about future discomfort.

She climaxed repeatedly as the inu youkai above her used her body for his pleasure. Finally, just when she thought she might pass out, from being overwhelmed by the multiple orgasms, his movements became rougher, jerkier, and he let out a thundering roar as he came. The heat of his seed pushed her to one final climax, and Kagome screamed against her arms.

Once the beast was sated, Sesshoumaru regained control. He immediately checked Kagome over, finding her motionless. When she still didn't move, he quickly scented her for injuries but found none, only the scent of her exhaustion. Her heart was racing, as was his, but she seemed fine otherwise.

"Kagome? Are you all right?"

"Mmmhmm," she hummed, still not moving a bit.

Concerned, Sesshoumaru slowly withdrew from her still twitching walls and gently rolled her over. He immediately cursed as he saw her forearms and shins. All were bright red with rug burn, looking almost as if they were ready to bleed. He mentally chastised his beast for being so careless and treating her so roughly without concern for her safety. He lifted her into his arms and carried her to the bed.

"I am so sorry," he murmured.

"For what?" Kagome asked. "A little rug burn? It was worth it."

"I caused you injury," he replied.

"While giving me multiple orgasms. It more than evens out."

"But you will be in pain."

Finally, the miko opened her eyes and shot him a glare. "I'm fine, Sesshoumaru. Just tired. Can we please go to bed now?"

The taiyoukai gave her an apologetic look, and Kagome sighed. She started to laugh as Sesshoumaru began to trail his tongue along her right forearm.

"What are you doing?" she asked with a yawn.

"Healing you."

"Well, if you can do that, then what's with all the apologizing? I told you, it's no big deal." Really, all she wanted to do was fall asleep, but if he could heal her rug burn, she wasn't going to stop him. She really hadn't been looking forward to the pain come morning.

"Fine, I will not apologize again. I will, however, be healing you."

"Can you do it while I'm sleeping?" she asked with a tired grin.

"I can."

"Then lick away." Kagome yawned again, and then allowed her eyes to close. She found sleep quickly, despite the slight tickling of his tongue over her wounds.

Sesshoumaru, on the other hand, stayed awake for more than an hour, intent on making sure she was fully healed. He never cared so much about a female in all his life as he did this woman, and he couldn't live with the knowledge that he had caused her any kind of pain. She deserved a man who could control himself, and he was very disappointed in his beast for hurting her.

The whole while he wondered if he had made a mistake in pressuring her at the aquarium. The fact that she wanted to reinstate the arrangement that they had just broken gave him the impression that he had. He had been pushy, aggressive, and he knew he could have easily chosen to control himself. He had at the zoo the day before and that night as well, even though climbing into bed with her made it incredibly difficult. Now, they broke their pact to abstain twice in one day, and he felt like a jerk.

Why was it so hard to keep his hands off of her? It From the moment he met her it had been difficult, but it seemed he was even more drawn to her since he was forced to perform to blood ceremony to save her instead of performing it during their mating. Was it his instincts making him desire her so much? Were they clawing at his mind to finish the mating? He ached to make her truly and fully his, but he knew now wasn't the time. She likely wouldn't agree until they had gotten to know each other a great deal more.

He had already learned so much about her over the last two days. He had also learned a great deal about his brother, and he had to say that he was somewhat thankful for the hanyou. Inuyasha had been there for her so many times in so many different ways. Without him, he might never have met the woman he loved and felt he was destined to be with. Without Inuyasha watching over her, she might have already found and mated or married another. Without the hanyou, she would never have become the strong woman that she was today, and he found himself wanting to thank his brother for everything he had done.

Sesshoumaru considered including the hanyou on some of their outings. It would certainly make Kagome happy, and perhaps it would allow Inuyasha to become more comfortable with him. He knew the rift between them was initially his fault, and he tried to start mending their relationship by explaining himself and apologizing for his behavior. Now, he supposed, it was up to Inuyasha to decide whether they could be brothers once again. Spending time together might just help that along.

Now, where did he take her next? He had a few ideas, but none of them seemed to be things that Inuyasha would like to tag along on. He doubted the hanyou would enjoy the art museum or a romantic picnic in the park. They could go to a movie, but that would restrict conversation, which was the opposite of what he was trying to do. A play would be the same, and Inuyasha would feel out of place at a fancy restaurant. He didn't want to make his brother feel like the third wheel. He wanted him to feel involved and enjoy himself, something he likely would find difficult at any of those locations.

Then an idea struck him. Perhaps Kagome and Inuyasha would enjoy going to an amusement park. There, they could all interact. Plus, with the hanyou in attendance, he would be less likely to try something with the miko. The amusement park would be too public and busy to find a place to sneak off to alone, and Inuyasha's presence would hopefully cool his arousal. It was the perfect idea. He only hoped Kagome would approve, and she could convince her friend to tag along.
