 Prompt 7: Wrapping Paper

It was quiet in the Higurashi house as Kagome sat in her living room by the tree decorated with ornaments, angels, tinsel, ribbons, lights, a star on top and whatever Mom could find at the store. Seemed like she’d gone overboard this time but whatever she wanted to be happy, Kagome guessed as she looked up to give it a smile----as long as it didn’t ‘fall over’ for being too heavy.

She went over the list of what she had bought for the others and had to make sure she had everyone’s present ready and wrapped up. Her friends were coming over to her house in a few hours with their presents as well and went down the list.

“Sango.” Check.

“Miroku.” Check. Then a sigh. “Oh why did he want THAT?! No really.” Kagome grumbled and shook her head.

“Inuyasha.” Check. “oh not surprised.” Kagome said with a smile.

“Rin.” Check.

The only one left on the list was Sesshomaru. She sighed loudly as she stared at the ceiling. What to buy that guy, what to give him----she had absolutely no idea. She bit her lip as she looked at what she HAD gotten him with a small smile. It was cute---but she didn’t think he was into ‘cute’ and wondered what he’d say to her when he opened it.

“Hmmm?” Kagome said as she heard her front door opening. She had locked it shut herself---she was sure of it. Footsteps...and she looked up at the ‘intruder’ of sorts. Hmm a sexy intruder with hot amber eyes that was….

‘………’

“I’m here to wrap my present right now.” Sesshomaru said with a naughty grin as he strode forward towards her. Hnn…she looked adorable in her red Santa suit sitting by the tree with presents and wrapping paper scattered around her and looking frazzled, hair ‘here and there’.

Her azure eyes looking up at him--dancing in the shadows by the fire---those innocent eyes wide made his inner beast want her even more---after all, he demanded that Sesshomaru need a mate and she was perfect for him.

“You’re here early? What do you want?” Kagome asked not looking threatened by him with a curious look---wrapping paper still in her hands.

“You.” Sesshomaru said with a bold smirk as he now looked down at her with a hungry expression.

“EH?” Kagome said in a ‘what the hell you talking about dude?’

“What did you get me Ka-go-me?” Sesshomaru said as he crouched down in front of her and played with her ebony locks, his beast happy she hadn’t pushed him away or told him off to let go. Of course, he would’ve had she said anything.

“I uhh….” Kagome started looking nervous and wondered if she should tell him or just say ‘nothing’. It was better right? She swallowed and said she hadn’t finished wrapping everyone’s yet so she couldn’t tell him.

“Hnn..” Sesshomaru said not buying it but hadn’t said anything. Her scent was giving off nervousness? Embarrassment? But not because he was here but perhaps what she’d gotten him? He sat down then and pulled her closer to him in his lap as he stroked her back. Was it perhaps something dirty? So where were Sesshomaru’s thoughts going at the moment?

‘……….’

“Eeep?” Kagome said (feeling being lifted and placed on his lap) as she leaned into his chest enjoying his scent. Damn him for being sexy, strong and desirable altogether. She crushed his shirt with her hand to which his inner beast wholly agreed with.

….And come to think of it, it wasn’t like him to make comments that what he wanted was ‘her’

Comments like that were left to Miroku and as usual he got his daily beatings by his lovely lady Sango. Those two were just made for each other....

“So uhh…” Kagome started. This was awkward as she peered up into his amber eyes from his lap. Then a sudden realization---maybe from the heavens---- Good god! What if her friends walked in and SAW THIS?! They would think the worst! Right? Okay so maybe Sango wouldn’t say anything since she knew Kagome had a crush on Sesshomaru (but it was kept hidden) but the guys?

They would think…they would think….these two were up-to-no-good! Since forever! And were doing ‘stuff’ behind the scenes. Not to mention these two were alone at her home for perhaps hours? With no adult supervision?

He played with the hem of her red skirt which had been pushed a bit upwards since she was sitting in his lap and a bit of her thighs were visible. His eyes flashed from amber to red then went back to their original color. ‘No. and that means No.’ He firmly told his inner beast. It was dangerous to ‘go down that road’

Still…he kissed her neck and sighed (while trying to keep his more primal animal instincts at bay and having a hard time) His fist was clenched as he felt her nuzzle (cuddle, snuggle, rub) against his chest. What sort of torture was this?

‘……..’

His inner beast grumbled. Unhappy with Sesshomaru and would like nothing other than this little Miko to be his mate then disappeared---something about foolish demon rulers who didn’t know any better…..

Shrugging all of a sudden (with a ‘oh to hell with it all) he pulled her shirt off and followed by her skirt as she stopped what she was doing to give him a ‘what are you doing?’ look and he gave her a naughty grin which made her heart skip a beat.

“Sesshomaru. Ah, hey…” Kagome started then seriously shocked (as he had snapped her bra off followed by her panties) wriggled in his lap (which did NOT help his imagination and made his inner beast’s thoughts run wild) ran a finger down the middle of her chest.

Whaaa….

Right now she wasn’t worried about her damn friends showing up! It was those ‘other’ things that made a shiver run down her spine….

Which were?

“Hmm? Something wrong Ka-go-me?” Sesshomaru asked, an innocent look on his face as his hand lovingly touched the side of her thigh. He smirked at Kagome’s complete silence. It wasn’t like her to remain quiet and stare at him in utter disbelief.

“Anyway, this is a good enough present for me. It’s You. I’ll just tear it off for you later so I can play with it, of course. It wouldn’t be any fun if I can’t use my toy to its ‘fullest potential. ” He said with a devilish smirk as he found the discarded wrapping paper---picked it up and started to wrap it around her loving Kagome’s blank expression.

She really was something else…..

‘Now finish what you started! Don’t you tell me that you lost your chance with her! And some other male fool got his hands on her because you had second-thoughts.’ his inner beast said popping back in.

“Hn. You agree with this color too?”  Sesshomaru asked as he wrapped the silver-blueish color around her body brushing past her lower half. She squeaked and he smirked like the demon he was. Of course she did as a bit of his fang showed. He pulled on the tape and tore it to stick it on her making sure he covered every inch.
