"Hey, Kagome are you sure we are at the right area?" Sango asked.

"I guess so. I felt the youki in this direction. But somehow it seems to be gone now." The priestess answered her companion. "Let's ask around and see if something unsual is happening in this area."

"Let me do the questioning." Sango aproached the bar keeper. "Excuse me. Can I get a few information in this town." the bar keeper just stared at her as if she had two heads.

"Good day, kind gentleman. What this beautiful lady meant was One of our friends sensed an omnious aura in this area. We wanted to check if there was something we could do to help." The monk smiled at the lady in question.

"Uhm... Gome, I don't think they will tell us. Wanna skip out on them?" Shippo whispered.

"What would you feel if they thought of your idea and left you, shippo?" Kagome whispered back not taking her eyes away from the pair in front.

"By you mean friend is that the miko you came with?" the bar keeper asked. "Ask Granny Kaede. She will be able to answer your curiousity."

"Where will we be able to find her?"

"She lives near the river. She is a healer that everyone respects."

The group departed the pub and walked towards the river. As they follow the river they saw an old lady carrying a basket full of herbs on her back. As if on impulse Kagome rushed towards the lady to assist her.

"Let us young ones help you out." shippo grinned as he assisted kagome with the basket.

"Thank you child. This ol bones of mine are all rusty." the old lady smiled at them.

"Then with all due respect let this one carry to your destination." miroku crouched infront of the old lady.

"My name is sango. They are miroku,shippo and kagome." sango assisted the old lady mount on miroku's back. "We are on our way to Lady Kaede's house."

"Then that's a good thing you helped me." the old lady smiled again. "It is uncommon to see a demon and a slayer in a group. As well as a monk and miko travelling together." she chuckled. "Don't worry this kaede just know how to read aura that's all."

Upon arrival to her house a little girl rushed out to greet them.

"Granny! A-are you okay?" the little girl walked towards miroku. "Rin is so worried."

"I am fine child. Open the door for our guests."

"Okay."

After settling down. They huddled by the flame.

"What can this old lady assist you all?" Kaede's face was serious.

"I sensed a dark aura in the area when we entered the town last night. But it was gone this morning." kagome answered. "I just wanted to know why and if there was something we could do to help."

"A few decades ago, a rumor started circulating about a manor in the forest. It was said to be a place where crazy things happen. One pertaining of an enormous dog lurking around the place. Another rumor claims that a gorgeous man with golden eyes and silver hair kills anything in sight." kaede started. "However this happens only once a month. When the moon is at it's fullest. I had done everything to seal the forest every month. But people had been missing this month even if the moon wasn't full."
