Rin fumbled with her yen coins the next day at school.  Next to her Souta sighed, before pushing his own coins into the vending machine and selecting her choice of drink. 

“Thank you!”  Rin stated taking the Pocari from him. 

“No biggie.”  Souta walked back with her to their classroom, his own drink in hand.  “Say, do you know why your brother’s visiting your grandparents tomorrow?” 

Rin choked on the first sip of her drink.  “Excuse me?”  She asked anger and disbelief clear in her tone. 

“Uh.”  Souta scratched the back of his head.  “You didn’t hear it from me?”
