Epic twist! I just got steamrolled by the cliffhanger train! I can't wait to see how this plays out, that's some nail-biting suspense! And about my comment on the rape scene, ironically enough, I was basing it off of an experience one of my friends went through. :( I guess everyone's response is different, even though something so horrible shouldn't happen at all.

Yes, I agree with your perception of rape. He never "penetrated" but it is still rape. And, coming from that point myself, it is exactly as you portrayed... If twists your mind and even when you body is responding to the touch, you mind is screaming in vengeance.. Kinda like getting tickled. You can't help but laugh if you are being tickled.. (bad comparison I know but its the best I can do)... I really appreciate the complexity of how Kagome's feeling and how she is afraid.. not knowing if she is safe or not when sess grabs her. It is instinct to want to protect one's self... hence the fetal position.. very good and accurate (as far as I can tell by my experience) depiction of that part.. and thank you for not going overboard on the rape part.. Oh, and also thank you for the simple tenderness from sess. I like how you do not take the peeling of sess's complex layers too far too fast.. If you do, the story may seem rushed... but I love it so far and keep writing! ciao.! ^.^

can't say anything about the rape scene that hasn't already been said. The body is a primitive thing *shrugs* and responds to stimuli in a predetermined manner no matter the origin. I actually stopped reading one story because Sess raped Kag then everyone (even Kag) kept saying that since she enjoyed it it wasn't rape. *snorts* yeah right. Great chapter I loved how it started with the tender moment btwn Sess and Kag over Rin and ended with a tender moment. I'm looking forward to hearing about what the court has planned. And does Sess know?

Exciting, harrowing chapter! I really loved the sweet exchange between Kagome and Sesshoumaru at the beginning concerning the children. Only thing is, wouldn't Sess have two arms by this point because of Bakusaiga? And actually - and I hate to be nitpicky - but I kinda doubt Kagome would be feeling pleasure when she's being raped. A woman's feelings have a lot to do with her arousal and being scared would definitely make it *hurt*, not feel good. Ah, but that's just my opinion. *_* I'm still going to read your fic because I'm anxious to see what happens at the Youkai court! I had an idea there was going to be some mating issue...Gah! On the edge of my seat!

Re: the rape scene. I completely understand what you were trying to do. We have a dear family friend that was raped, and what you described is exactly accurate. Thank you for writing a scene that was grimly realistic. Two grammar notes: you used fowl, when you meant foul and rap when you meant wrap. Just an FYI -- I know I'd want someone to point it out if it was my story. Yes, I am that friend that'll tell you that you have spinach in your teeth. I can't help it. I'm just that insufferable.

this is turning out to be very good start to long story. i look forward to reading more. on one note tho, kagome is a very sad person what woman would be second best to a dead woman. talk about a lack of self worth.
