CookieAsylum (Chapter 112) - Fri 30 Mar 2018

Oh my goodness. I'm late to give this review! But I love the tie-in to the battousai, because they were a big part of the Meiji era. And Sesshoumaru taking on the assassin's son! Oh, i hope nothing comes back to bite him about it (though it might). I love how much research you've put into telling this story. The history of Japan always seems so complex - especially the Meiji era - and you've tackled this timeline beautifully! Keep up the awesome work! I look forward to more! Great job!

KShadeslady (Chapter 112) - Wed 14 Mar 2018

Thanks so much for another great update and the fascinating history lesson. Sometimes it’s hard for me to decide which I like more. I am always happy to see an update. Thanks so much.

KShadeslady (Chapter 111) - Wed 14 Mar 2018

War is not nice. Especially at close quarters. It is horrific and as someone who grew up in the military and also served, I am forever thankful that I was no longet in during this war in Afghanistan. So many that I know have terrible times dealing with what they saw and dealt with, men and women alike. Having a strobig honorable commander helps. Very insightful chapter. Thank you for updating.

Thx for updating.

CookieAsylum (Chapter 111) - Sun 11 Mar 2018

Holy crap! I read through this whole story this afternoon! I love the historical details and the information you're sharing, and with the way you weave Kagome and Sesshoumaru's life through it. This is absolutely fascinating! And I'm thoroughly looking forward to any future updates you do. I can only imagine all the research you've had to do to write this.

Keep up the great work!

Cheyanna (Chapter 111) - Sun 11 Mar 2018

I holow Kagome will continue to be his light in darkness. I can’t wait to read more, thanks for the update!!!!;)

Natalia (Chapter 110) - Mon 12 Feb 2018

Take your time. We will wait. Thx for the lesson in history and clarification

KShadeslady (Chapter 110) - Sun 11 Feb 2018

Wow! Three lovely chapters! Thanks for such a nice gift. We’ll be here waiting for whenever you are able to send us something new. I’ve been going back and reading some of your other stories. I’ve really enjoyed them. So are some of these places still there. I know Kyoto is and Edo is now Tokyo but do some of the other towns exist or have they been destroyed/abandoned or built over? As always, I love the history lessons.

KShadeslady (Chapter 108) - Sun 11 Feb 2018

Great chapter. Nice bit of life at home and now some tension. I always look forward to this story. So much to learn about Japan’s history. I know it is very convoluted. Thanks so much for updating. Cheers!

KShadeslady (Chapter 107) - Mon 05 Feb 2018

I love seeing the thoughts and planning as the story moves along. Thanks for updating.

KShadeslady (Chapter 106) - Mon 05 Feb 2018

How very interesting. Can't blame the daimyo on the way for changing sides.  Of cogcouthe British would support them with an ironclad against their old rivals, the French. Wonderful update. I'm going to miss this fiction when you are done. Thanks for updating.

maru'sningenluvr19 (Chapter 105) - Wed 31 Jan 2018

i'm loving this story. i hope you finish it. you placed storytelling and history together and i like that. i think this will turn into an interesting fanfic. i was looking for lemons in this story, but i don't think you write them. oh well, i like the story anyway. keep up the great writing. c'ya'

KShadeslady (Chapter 105) - Mon 22 Jan 2018

Many thanks for the wonderful update and the history lesson. It would be very hard to fight against those that you once believed in. Do well in school.

Cheyanna (Chapter 105) - Sun 21 Jan 2018

Thanks for the update! I always like reading the actual history behind your chapters, can't wait to read more!!!

KShadeslady (Chapter 104) - Thu 11 Jan 2018

Great updates. I can not imagine how precarious it would be to live like that. Knowing that another group could come in and kill your whole family. They did that. If a family member committed a crime, the entire family could be put to death. I guess they thought that would e!iminate any revenge. Hope our couple survives. Thanks for updating.

Kae (Chapter 104) - Thu 11 Jan 2018

The history and research you've done into this is fabulous! I love the snapshots of the time and how they live their lives in between the big happenings!

Cheyanna (Chapter 104) - Wed 10 Jan 2018

I'm currrently at the edge of my seat wondering how Sesshomaru will fair in this war. I really enjoy reading this and I cannot wait to read more! I hope Sakurashima goes untouched for the most part, as well as the Shinshengumi deciding they had bigger fish to fry then taking Sesshomaru's head. I can imagine the war will be quite heated among the factions not to mention the western involvement as well.

KShadeslady (Chapter 102) - Wed 10 Jan 2018

Very turbulent times they live in. So much unrest. Very hard to ride those waves and stay nuetral. Very nice insight into his thoughts and family life. I can imagine many felt like that. They just want peace and quiet, have a family and a good life. Things don’t change much do they? Lovely chapters. Thanks!

Natalia (Chapter 102) - Wed 10 Jan 2018

Yay he is born!

Thx for updating.
