Agreeing with Tana_San, am glad that they spent the two days getting to know each intimately. That is probably why the two of them were able to talk to each other and not rip each other throats apart. Although I felt like Kagome still does not fully trust him. She's too quick to jump to conclusions and her emotions are volatile. But I suppose that's because she still has not fully let go of Inuyasha and she probably never will. At least she made a good effort of not escalating her anger at his words. Sesshomaru made a good effort ad well. I am happy that the two are able to get past that awkward stage of not voicing their true feelings. 

I wonder is Inuyasha was even aware that he was sterile. He may not have known either. Kagome would be devastated and probably hold a grudge against Inuyasha if he had known and held it from her. So for her own sanity and letting go of Inuyasha, I hope he didn't know. And I hope she doesn't do something stupid as blame Sesshomaru for not sharing that info with them. It's obviously not his problem. Now if he were to mate her, then comes the question of what will their pups be? 

Anyways, very good chapter. Love the lemons and the emotions that went behind it. As always, I love how you wring in their thought process  to reflect their emotions. Good job with this chapter!

Well, it seems that now they're achieving a certain level of understanding. I'm very curious to hear Sesshoumaru's explanation for Inuyasha's infertility. As always, great update.

Ah, now we're getting somewhere. Two days of of no fighting and learning to understand one another is a great beginning and to find out after all their time together that she wasn't responsible for not being able to get pregnant was quite a jolt for her. I guess it's natural for the woman to think she's the reason why pregnancy doesn't happen. A woman without any real reproduction knowledge might think that because there's sperm  present then it must be their fault. Women during that time period and up to the point that doctors were able to use science to preform tests to prove that men can be sterile while still having sperm. Poor Kagome. All those years wanting to have children. But then she might not get her wish with Sesshoumaru either though since he has such a distaste for half blooded, weakened offspring. I have to wonder if she could be happy with just being with Sesshoumaru alone. Maybe he wouldn't mind adopting if they decide to stay together. Kagome raised Shippo and he raised Rin...it's a thought.

Glad you're back. I've missed you! You've done a really good job with this chapter. Will they get to a point where they can actually talk freely to each other where Kagome uses her brain not not insult and challenge Sesshoumaru to get to know him and have her questions answered. It looked like he tried a little more not to take her words wrong this time around and listened more until before he said anything. Kagome wrapping her arms around him would be what I would have done when I thought he might get upset and pull away. I liked this and I've got to say that the passion and tenderness was a plus.  JEN

This  has to be the weirdest couple ever. Love these three chapter can't wait for more.

I just knew it would have to end up this way...but... there was a moment there where Sesshoumau was going to let it go. He was being a hypocrite to be angry that she took solace in another man when he himself had taken a woman deliberately right where he knew she would see. Kagome was right and I think that was her best shot to get him to back down, and he seemed to be doing just that.

Kagome just couldn't let it go then, could she? I bet she even felt a small victory when he backed down to leave, but she couldn't help but to grind the axe a little deeper and provoke him a bit more. Oooo, so intense and I've been waiting for it.

I agree with your point of view in every way, Moonlight. We do all want Kagome as that sweet girl we knew from the anime but if this were real life and she had gone through all this, ended up in the past with InuYasha and had a very long life only to watch as all her friends died one by one, as did her husband, only his death was long in coming, and she never aged, she would have changed...maybe to this point.

Was she a willing party in her own rape? Heck yeah, she was. She kept pushing and provoking him with her words alone. But I saw one thing here that I hope Kagome does but I guess I'll have to wait to see. Most excellent chapter!!!!  JEN

Now, who knows, they both will sit down and really speak civilly to one another without always trading barbs mutually. They both are extremely pridefull and, until now, they are turning the attraction that they feel for the other in aggression and anger. If they want to reach an agreement, both will have to give in, otherwise they will be deadlocked and will really end up killing each other.

They both had that coming. No, they both needed to get past that stage to work things through and it couldn't have been under better circumstances. I feel like Kagome just needed an extra push or pushing..lol..to finally get her foot on the right path. Now she will be able to finally begin a new chapter in her life. I also feel that Sesshomaru will now reveal his emotional aspects to her as well. Although our Miko will always get herself in trouble somehow, I feel that now she be more confident in her actions.|

Well...now that she got that out of her system, hopefully she can make some responsible decisions. Although, she will most likely have to suffer through Sesshomaru's outburst first. The two of them really need to come to terms with their feelings for each other. It's getting ridiculous that even though Kagome knows he loves her, she knows she's insanely attracted to him, then what's holding her back? Hopefully, now that she did what she did, she will be more receptive to him. And Sesshomaru really needs to control his anger as well. He's a demon and she's human. They're not in any kind of romantic relationship (yet), so he just needs to chill with the anger issues. Bottom line is, they need to talk and not go at the other's throat!
