LoveAndFaith (Chapter 35) - Sat 14 Feb 2015

Poor Kagome, keep it coming. Happy Valentine's Day!

LoveAndFaith (Chapter 34) - Sat 14 Feb 2015

Kagome is pregnant, I hope the baby is Sesshomaru, keep it coming.

LoveAndFaith (Chapter 33) - Sat 14 Feb 2015

Great news, keep it coming.

LoveAndFaith (Chapter 32) - Sat 14 Feb 2015

So intense, keep it coming.

Tana_san (Chapter 35) - Tue 10 Feb 2015

Kagome is reacting the same way as I would if I were in her position. Depression from such stress and life's upheaval is hard to deal with on it'd own and she's pregnant and she knows what it'll mean to them both if it's not his, but hasn't the heart to kill it herself and so instead she's gone into a severe depression that could possibly take not only the child's but her life as well.

I was alittle confused when Jun and Momo found her unconscience and both thought maybe Sesshoumaru left because he couldn't handle the fact that she was carrying a hanyou child, only to find out later that they couldn't sense any youkai aura at all.

I'm afraid what Sesshoumaru will do once he finds out that Jun and Momo gave Kagome the idea to leave when he told them to take care of her. I'm wondering if she go back to that island. They told her to go where Sesshoumaru wouldn't find her and after all that's happened why would she go there? It's plausable but then there's all those dead bodies and she'd surely lose the baby trying to burn or bury those bodies.

Dang, Moonlight, I can ususally guess fairly close to what you're thinking and I'm just sitting out on a limb here. You're doing a great job at stumping me on this one. I just can't get Kagome's physical condition being so underweight and she's in depression and now she's traveling, even if it is on AhUn. That would be too much even if she were in good health I would think.

Anyway, I love that you can confuse me and stump me. Guess I've been sleeping much too long!  Hugs, JEN

Nessa Rios (Chapter 35) - Tue 10 Feb 2015

Noooo I need some happiness for these two :'(

Melissa (Chapter 35) - Tue 10 Feb 2015

Wow. Maybe her body is so strong that it purified any demon in the child, and it is still sesshomaru' s. Love can be so cruel.

cassandra (Chapter 35) - Mon 09 Feb 2015

Oh no!  I feel so bad for her.  I actually felt my own heart break when she was told about the baby.  I wonder what will happen if sesshomaru finds her. Will he really kill the baby since it's not his.

DivaG (Chapter 35) - Mon 09 Feb 2015

Wow, that was fast. Yes, the fight between reason and instincts is a tough one. To rise with love a child born from rape, even for the mother is very difficult, for though you understand that the child is not to blame, whenever you look at it you will remenber the horrors you went through when it was created. Really, Kagome will have much suffering ahead with her decision to have and rise the child even if Sesshoumaru indeed is not the father, because in addition to the child be a living proof of her rape by Ko it is also the reason that she is separated from her mate, leading to a future full of bitterness. Kagome may have a loving heart, but she is still human. That's why abortion, in the case of pregnancy caused by rape is legally recognized nowadays and, personally, I agree with that.

Margaret Armstrong (Chapter 35) - Mon 09 Feb 2015

You are an evil, evil woman. Such angst; once again I am wiping away tears. Hopefully you will update soon. ../grabs another hanky and waits

SilverInu93 (Chapter 35) - Mon 09 Feb 2015

Kyo (Chapter 35) - Mon 09 Feb 2015

No no no no noooooooo!!!!!!!!!! Dang it! Why????!!!!! I hope that the babe was only shielded because of Kagome's priestess blood because if it is indeed that bastard's I don't know how I will take it.

Mona (Chapter 1) - Mon 09 Feb 2015

I love reading the story but this latest chapter has me in a bt of a tizzy.  So according to the maids the child is not Sesshoumaru, I dont know if I can take any more of Kagome's heartache.  I will continue to read this story til it's entirety but with the assumption of a heavy heart.

Mona (Chapter 1) - Mon 09 Feb 2015

Marie (Chapter 34) - Sun 08 Feb 2015

I think you attempt to make me cry with every other chapter. And as badly as I would lime I have afeeli mm get the child's not sess.  So tha you would give us two options such the child will die. Or the child will die and be sess after all. Or best case senario   the child will be sess but she leaves which I  any case is the best because although they art with each other she has his child.  This is my prediction any way.  So give me what you got I await the next update

SilverInu93 (Chapter 34) - Sun 08 Feb 2015

I hope andy pray its sesshys

Kristina Kimball (Chapter 34) - Sun 08 Feb 2015

I am sorry for not reviewing before now...

I have been thinking about this alot...

I was thinking about her dream and abot what she has been through so far since she gave herself to save Sesshomaru...I believe she knows she is pregnant even if it is subconciously...she knows what will happen if the child is not his...I believe that is where her reacurring dream comes from...

I can't wait to see what happens next...

Great job so far...

DivaG (Chapter 34) - Sun 08 Feb 2015

Now it's time to face the harsh reality. Sesshoumaru is a youkai and thus quite territorial, and feels the strong tendency to kill the offspring of other males to create your own. This is instinctive, and happens all the time with many animals, including dogs, since in the packs only the alfa pair has the right to reproduce. Personaly, as he is strongly guided by his instincts, I doubt he can raise the child of another man, no matter how much he loves Kagome. It would be difficult to a human man, imagine a youkai. If the child is not his, he will leave her and she will create it alone, because if he stays, even fighting his instincts, the very presence of the child will often remind him of what happened, and inevitabily the bitterness will increase, until it reaches a point of no return and the love he feels for her will be replaced by anger. Harsh reality indeed.

Tana_san (Chapter 34) - Sun 08 Feb 2015

So, Kagome is pregnant...or is she?The night terrors she is experiencing is symbolic to how she's feeling and until she can get ahold of herself these kind of dreams will probably continue. The dream starts back at the beginning when she asked to follow Sesshoumaru and he wouldn't even help her to even get to the cave knowing she was human, weaken from grief and she was wet from the rain as well as the rocks she climbed but she fought to get to him and though she made in reality, she fears he won't help her and allow her to stay this time. She believes herself to be pregnant and she knows he'll not want to raise the man's child who defiled her body. The black birds are ripping and tearing into her...defiling her body while he watches but she takes one last chance to make it up to him and she knows she's failing but she calls out for him and declares her love for him with such sincerity that he leaps down to save her but with all the blood flowing from her they lose their grip and she falls but awakens before she hits bottom. She doesn't want to believe that he would ever truly leave her to die and she awakens before her death.

This is what I get from this. I also know that if Sesshoumaru stays away until he can determine her pregnancy, she may have a mental breakdown and this would be totally understandable.Kagome is always sacrificing herself for others and especially for those she loves and it always seems as if trouble just follows her like a magnet.

So far Sesshoumaru has done all he can possibly do for her because he has found he does have love for her...something so completely new and not believed could be felt. He watched her being defiled. The "vows" weren't real for Kagome. She did it to save Sessh's life and only for that reason. Still, he saw and knows that the possibility of the child being Ko's is a real factor in whether he can stay with her. He wouldn't want to injure her or an innocent child by staying, I can understand that. It's not every man's thing to raise another man's child especially one of rape and the same can be said for Kagome, but she is a totally unique woman. I give her credit through all that she's been through with Ko and whose to say that he wouldn't have kidnapped her if they never slept together that one time. He said he always held feelings for her and she was a miko, pure which he required to pick that fruit.

This is truly a hard situation. I can always agree with the majority and want her not pregnant, but then they would still have the same problem just with no child. They need to talk. Sesshoumaru has left...for now. This is Kagome's time to get herself together. Get cleaned up, eat, and think long and hard on what she needs to say to Sessh. Sesshoumaru opened the subject and now they need to find out if love, for them, can stand this test. I think sometimes that life is just that, a series of tests and we make our choices even if we're not responsible for the crap life throws our way. IS Kagome strong enough? DOES Sesshoumaru love Kagome enough to possibly raise a child not his own AND love that child because of it's innocence in all of this?

Tough decision, my dear Moonlight. I don't envy your muse on this one.

Kisses,  JEN

cassandra (Chapter 34) - Sun 08 Feb 2015
