Really good chapter. I liked your note and appreciate your thoughts. I don't understand some readers need for a violent lemon. Yours are well written just as they are. Loved the trip to the spirit world. I like how you have woven different layers of this world to keep us wanting more.

Hm so he marked her to let everyone know they are lovers - but why didn't he mark her as his mate?
Was it because she's human or is it because he wanted to give her the choice after meeting her sister again?

Wonder how Kagome will react once Inuyasha tells her how Sesshomaru treated him just because he was hanyo.
On the other hand, what if Kikyo demands Kagome to leave Sesshomaru's side - how will both of  them react?

c 14-15: both of these were wonderfully written. Poor Kags, she is really having a rough time. I was wondering if Sessh was hanging around nearby, just in case. Seems she has truly gotten under his skin, whether he wants to admit it or not. So will Onigumo perish at last or will he survive To come back later? I love this story. Familiar yet different. Can't wait to see what happens next.

Even though they mated in the battlefield - Sesshomaru and Kagome were at least on the outskirts :p
I don't think Kagome would have been unable to ignore a dead body literally right next to her, passionate or not. But the way you wrote it was deliciously tactful and yet oh so evil......

I am so glad Kagome finally saw Sesshomaru as he is not what she thinks he is.
Although, I noticed Kagome was just embarressed by seeing her sister getting all lusty with Inuyasha, she was not appalled at her sisters behavior. Maybe Kagome is finally growing up and maturing! yey!

Now though.....will someone else (Kikyo? Inuyahsa?) try to get inbetween Sesshomaru and Kagome?
Will someone else try to seperate them?
I also wonder - how much does Sesshomaru trust Kagome? If she was framed for trying to kill Sesshomaru (or some kind of betrayl) would he belive in her or would his misgivings about ningen in general override what he knows and feels for Kagome?

Whew! Plot points cleared up! Sesshoumaru is really growing from his experience with Kagome. It figures that while he started out wanting to change her, he gets changed himself!
