She is just sooo vain! To think Sesshoumaru is not strong or wise enough to pick an equal mate? She'll sacrifice herself to "restore inuyoukai pride"? She's too much!
I just love this fic. I'm enjoying the ties binding so romanticly around Sesshoumaru and Kagome. Not too fast. Jaken, oh how sweet (and brave) of him not to go against Sesshoumaru and to think of him as his son. As I said before, it makes sense for Jaken to feel that way. And InuMama thinks that InuYasha could stop Sesshoumaru from persuing whom he wishes?
InuYasha acting all tough and "big" brotherly, coming to check out the girl, only to find out that the girl was good for Sesshoumaru and to back down. I wonder how Sesshoumaru will react to his mother sending in InuYasha to check out his girl and hopefully to scare her off.

"He no longer was his mother’s son. He was Taisho Sesshomaru now." -- This is...jeez. This is great. The best line in the entire piece. It shows just how clearly Jaken understands Sess, and the previous chapter shows just how much Sess cares for Jakens opinion. I absolutely love that you've given Jaken more than the standard role here. He's got character that I haven't seen before, and more background and mystery than most writers, myself included, tend to give him. I can't wait to read more! - Fei
