Such a sweet story...I adore it! The love that Sesshoumaru and Kagome share is so deep and wonderful it almost brings you to tears...they just fit together; fate proving they were made for one another....and when Kagome left Sesshoumaru on the curb, oh goodness I almost fell out of my chair (I can't believe she actually forgot him!) As a couple, they have endless consideration for each other; they truly listen to each other and always remember what the other says and does...that is the way it should be...and the addition of the song at the end was magnificent...great job!
Pretty good, you went a little overboard onthe details in a couple places but it's still good. As a note you mentioned Kagome meeting his parents before he brought it up. I didn't know if you meant that but thought I'd bring it up. Considering how long it was, iy would have been nice to see it broken into chapters. Well those are my thoughts anyway.
I think this would, in the words of my dear friend Yabou, qualify as an EPIC one-shot! In fact, it falls only slightly short of her record of over 18,700 words in "Like Peanut Butter." That was the longest one-shot I've EVER beta-ed and, like this one, one of the most delightful. I love the OOC-ness... it lends even more of an AU quality to the story, and fits the holiday for which it was intended beautifully. Thank you so much for sharing this delicious, heart-warming story with us all!
