This is getting more interesting and I'm really looking forward to reading more of this

Kanda (Chapter 29) - Mon 06 Mar 2017

i know that feeling of discouragement very well. although in the case that yer dad was unhappy with it, i was never encouraged. my parents dont even know that i write constantly, though i don't seem to get any better. *shrug* compared to you, i am average, at the least. you write very well and there is a uniqueness to yer style. i'm still struggling a lot, but i hope you continue to write, even if not for this story, then fer others you feel you want to write, whether fer enjoyment or otherwise.

Kanda (Chapter 8) - Mon 06 Mar 2017

lmao, he was like a little puppy investigating/sniffing around. xD

QUEEN_Cypher (Chapter 29) - Wed 10 Aug 2016

Update please

Krystal Beltran (Chapter 29) - Fri 29 Jul 2016

You're doing a great job so don't lose confidence. I like your unique take on kags becoming an inu and i would like to see where you go with your story. As for your dad i know he wants the best for you but follow what you want to do. Trust me, my family would tell me the same thing constantly until they realized its something i enjoy doing.

Christine (Chapter 29) - Thu 28 Jul 2016

Had to reread it all so as not to miss anything. Love the plot, most especially the last few chapters. You have a talent for plot thickening. Waiting with baited breath for the next piece of the puzzle ;)

Doug G. (Chapter 1) - Sun 24 Jul 2016

I don't know why my review got posted as a single paragraph.

Sorry about that.

Doug G. (Chapter 11) - Sun 24 Jul 2016
I understand this is your first fanfic. I mean no disrespect but you might look into getting a beta reader or an editor. The plot is getting bogged down in needless detail about what the characters are wearing and routine tasks. You can reduce all of that into a couple of sentences. You are not the first writer of an Inuyasha fic that got a hot springs scene wrong. They don't wash themselves in the hot springs, they do it outside the hot springs. Once they rinse themselves off, they only soak in the hot springs. And a feudal era hut only has one common room. There are no separate rooms, no doors. Why would they risk inciting envy in the village? Imagine, they are not permanent residents of the village and Kagome has a better hut than the village headman with items from the modern era like cabinets. Feudal society is very hierarchical. The anime and manga glosses over certain things to keep the story going. Example, Kagome is a single woman who dresses oddly for a priestess, speaks her mind and no one knows her lineage at the village. Back then, such things would have gotten her ostracized or hurt. I think the only reason they tolerate her at this specific village is Kaede announcing to the villagers that Kagome is Kikyo's reincarnation. Other villages would not be so welcoming of strangers then.

Alashia (Chapter 28) - Sun 24 Jul 2016

Don´t give up it's a really good story and I hope you will finish it!

Tana_san (Chapter 29) - Sat 23 Jul 2016

I just read your author's note at the end of the chapter and I must plead with you, DO NOT allow anyone to to come between you and your love of writing. Writing fanfiction is not a waste of time. What your dearest father does not understand is this is a good training and testing ground for your work. Many on Dokuga are extremely kind and forgiving of mistakes and typos but if this is a true passion and you ask for the experienced writers to give you productive critism, they will.

Fanfiction is also a different world for people who love their favorite anime, tv series, movie, and cartoon characters come to life through other's love of the program. Fanfiction makes people like me who are disabled and alone often have new adventures to live through the eyes and imaginations of our favorite writers. I often times spend hours laid up reading fanfiction, getting caught up in the excitement, drama and adventure of a story.

You have talent, young one and I have been a reader of fanfiction for quite a long time and I have enjoyed so many new and up and coming authors. Many have actually written books and sold them and they started by taking stories they had written in their journals and then put them on computors and then found fanfiction sites that had their favorite genre and started posting.

The grammar and spelling you learn from fanfiction writing can be applied to other various parts of your life too. My daughter told me of a young man who actually got into screen writing for a television series and he started by writing stories from his favorite shows. She, herself, had great difficulty in school trying to get through English, grammar, and spelling. After finding fanfiction, my daughter thought to give writing a try as she loved telling and reading stories. She has become a very accomplished writer but is now focusing on doing the artwork for fanfiction. She met several very intellient "Grammar Nazi's" and she learned more through these girls than she did in all the time she went through school classes.

So as well intentioned as your dear father may be, don't fault him but don't give up your love for writing and hopefully you will continue to write for Sess/Kag as a couple here on Dokuga. As I said, this is a very an emtremely kind bunch of people who just love writing for InuYasha's older brother and his future traveling friend becoming a super awesome couple that we the fans have created.
