Christie (Chapter 26) - Fri 04 Nov 2011

A few side notes here:

First, I am horrible about reviewing. *(for numerous reasons) But, sometimes, I am compelled to sit down and make a few notes.

This petulent appeal to "hurry" your story along, should be and I would hope, is being ignored.

A plot takes time to develop, time to flesh out and round out to make a story line enjoyable. If someone is building a story line, characters are introduced over time, not at the opening line.
Good for you, for standing your ground and explaining to them, that your story will have a plot, will be built in your time, in your way.

I have learned to embrace drabble stories. It was hard for me, at first. I'm a traditionalist. I like my chapters, my introduction, my lead in, my build up, my crescendo and my slow taper to the end.

But, there is much to be learned from drabbles and such an opportunity for writers to build themselves.

And I am enjoying this one!

Hang in there and pay no heed to the hurriers. They will learn to sit back and enjoy and let it build.

Keh! (Chapter 20) - Sun 30 Oct 2011

Okay, normally I don't write a review unless it's worth it, good or hopefully constructive criticism.  This is hopefully constructive criticism:  the A/N is destroying my enjoyment of your story since they seem to be much, much longer than the chapter itself and after several in a row of your banter, I'm done.  I am sorry, but I want to read the story, not your notes.  If you want that informatino in the story, put it in the story, not the A/N.

Inkasha Taisho (Chapter 19) - Sat 29 Oct 2011

I like the pacing..-owl blink- I mean its a drabble series!!! And the plot still has to be established!! Jeez, anyway, I do so enjoy this and CAN NOT wait for me. I really like the plantonic yet reliant relationship Inu and Kagome and I wonder who's bloo Shuuko is covered in!! Mysteries yet to be solved!!! I'm so intringed

Trelweny Rosephoenixwolf (Chapter 19) - Sat 29 Oct 2011

Personally I doubt Takahashi would have ever tried to put her leading lady with Sesshomaru: she clearly has a preference for brash, often verbally abusive Boys as her leading males. :rolls eyes: It would be my one major gripe with All of her stories, and psychologically it makes me wonder about her personal life to continually cast these types as her 'heroes' when they border so on the unhealthy and unsafe for the females to whom she pairs them.

Although I dislike Inuyasha for his verbal abusive and degrading nature towards Kagome I also get tired of "Inuyasha the villain" plots to separate them. I believe he's not necessarily evil but seriously needs to grow up and be brought in line one way or another. I'm not Against the canon pairing so much as it's easy to adjust Kagome to be perfect for Sesshomaru and I enjoy writing and reading about HIS happiness over Inuyasha's. :shrugs: That, and it helps that there are better writers in the Sess/Kag fanfictions than in other pairings in general. I do hope, no matter what, for Inuyasha to also find happiness just as I love almost any story in which the brothers come to some form of amicable relationship.

On a similar note I hate Kikyo-the-slut plots. Evil traitorous vile creation of clay I'll take, but nothing in her canon implies promiscuity and its addition always makes the story harder to believe because it doesn't make any sense.

I too wish there's been sight of Sesshomaru before now but I can understand the 'scenic route' as you put it. I've even done similar myself in a story of another pairing, so I can comprehend the reasons for it. Of course this in particular reminds me why drabbles are not my favorite story-telling format... but they do have their own charm. In a way.

Thanks so much for writing.

hikari hime (Chapter 17) - Thu 27 Oct 2011

Usually, I prefer to read and lurk, I don't review that often, but there, I had to do it.

I like your story so far, and I LOVE long buildups. Sesshomaru's not here yet? Well, you have your reasons, and it IS a drabble set after all. I prefer a good and plausible plot to a half-assed story where Shesshomaru falls litterally from the sky without good reason.

Keep on the good work, good readers will wait. The others are not even worthy of the time you took to write your rant ;)

Emily (Chapter 17) - Thu 27 Oct 2011

You tell 'em! Personally, I think your story is great and if it seems like it's taking a while, it's only because it's building up steam. I have no doubts that when you do get to the climax, it'll be a real bang! Keep up the great work. :D

Tengoku no bara (Chapter 17) - Wed 26 Oct 2011
