That was fan-freakin'-tastic XD. I got pulled into the chapter so much that I didn't register anything else, and yup, finished it in one sitting, though it took me 3 and a half hours. I finished it at 2:35 AM and had to go to bed to do my 10 hours of sleep (8 just doesn't satisfy me ;P), I'm reviewing straight from bed now, 10h35min later ;)

I sooo loved the scene where Hisa told her of the tradition and she proceded to plot his death (him feeling her intentions was an added bonus XDDD). Hisa's just a darling, I love her. AND Sheng will be making his appearance soon, hilarity to come, I just know he and Hisa are best buds.

Though, I wonder what went through mum's head when she interrogated Sessh. And does Sessh know that humans probably feel pain more acutely than yokai do, since they are frailer and all (and that tidbit of her hurting her hand more than his cheek kinda spurred me on).

I liked the scene where he studies her and her imperfection, and finds it endearing. It's great how you subtly incorporate the 'rule' at the top into the chapter. It's like those rules are half designed for falling in love as well as breaking an arranged mating.

Meiling had it coming, I was so smug when Kag let loose, I really enjoyed Kag laying it out on her (though, she'll probably regret all when she cools off). And that last scene... soooo awesome. I'm glad Sessh finally got to fully see that side of her, and I have a feeling he loved it immensely XP. And her punishing him, nice twist, I adored it... he probably did too ;P.

That kiss at the end though, I have this teensy weensy little niggling that her mentioning going away, finding a nice young man to marry and have sex with (said man not being him) was the trigger for it (alonhg with what she just did for him - announcing him as her intended, standing up for him, getting angri for him, etc. - being the cause :)) I melted, she should too. 

It's clear that he craves love... all dogs do. ;P

Next chapter is going to be interesting.

Oh no...Oh no, oh no. You can't possibly stop here. This is the best damn read i have these past months. Gosh, I can't wait to see how this develop into. I really love how you make Sesshoumaru here. I can't explain it but I just love him like this. So vulnerable and lovely. XD

Honest to God this is one of the best stories I've ever read on this site.  It's new, it's intriguing, it's coming from a whole different angle, and I really, really can't wait to find out what happens next.  I somehow wish I had come upon this story in, what...six months?  When it's done and I can read it all at once, because it's that damned good!   And, yes, I did read this whole chapter all in one sitting because I couldn't tear my eyes away from it.  Please, please don't forget about updating this lovely thing now that you've gone back to school, it will break all of your 'fan-girls' hearts! 

About the only thing I want to complain about is Kagome's reaction to the news that Meiling and Sesshomaru's mother have been forcing him to sleep with the nasty bitch.  Hopefully, when it comes to time to actually kick Meiling's butt she'll have worked herself up into that righteous rage that Kagome's so well-known for.  To quote Shippou:  "Kagome's scary when she's angry!"  I want her to let some of that scary lose on the females that abuse that big youkai demon of her's.  Cause he is her's whether both of them want to admit it, or not!

You know, every single time Sesshoumaru went to Meiling's, I wondered how Kagome would react to knowing that. And HA! I was right. She'd be angry as hell! (as would any girl that would have to unknowingly share Sesshy >=l ).

Update soon please! I know you have school and responsabilities and blah blah blah... But you're also bound to us! You cannot let us fall into the deepest pits of hell in desperation, biting our nails with wicked-looking eyes, looking from side to side! Waiting for your that email that notifies us that you've finally decided to calm our hunger for your enthralling words!

You cannot let me go into that state of mind again :'(

PS. no, no, I did not escape the asylum... I just walked out of it. :p

This story is addicting and I have read it twice because it's so thoughtfully written. Your attention to detail is absolutely amazing and I cannot wait for an update!

OMG that was a long chapter. I LOVED IT!  I so wanted to cry when I got to the ending.  I cannot believe that you just stopped it there!  That must be the worst cliff hanger in the world!!!  Oh, I am looking forward to how the Court reacts to this! And when do we get to meet the quirky, drunken chinese InuYoukai?  I hope Sesshomaru takes her in the next chapter!!!  Good luck with school - I am starting my Master's this semester. Please update as soon as well you can. I know school is that drab thing we all love yet dislike. But I will forever keep reviewing and hopefully making you smile :)

This story is probably one of the most engaging and entertaining I have read so far.  Instead of spending my remaining days doing  things with friends before the start of another stressful college semester, I have been sitting reading this non-stop.  It is 3:41 AM, and I have an insatiable thirst for more.  So please, please!  I must read more.  However, I do know how the school thing goes, so I will be as patient as possible.  Rushed work is never good work.  Your's definitely shows time and care.  Love to you and your work.

Wow... awesomely long chapters, intriguing and well-placed plot, engaging original characters - what's not to LOVE? :D

Just a tiny little thing - I think, to the best of my limited knowledge, that the furisode did not yet exist in the Sengoku Jidai. Like everything, garments evolve and the precursor of the kimono we know now probably appeared in the late Edo period. But I may be wrong :)
